All India Council For Technical Education has released Common Entrance Test On Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CET-IE) 2020 notification and “Online Test to be conducted on 5th September 2020” for MBA/PGDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship And Venture Development (IEV) Program admission for Academic Year 2020-21
Eligibility for CET-IE 2020: The minimum academic eligibility for a candidate to apply for this program should be a graduate in any discipline of course (10+2+3)/ (10+2+4)/ (10+3+3) with at least 50% Marks.
UG candidates those are waiting for final result also can apply by clicking “Final Result Awaited” and upload a self-undertaking that he/she will furnish certificate to institute at the time of personal interview.
Preferably candidates for this program are students having entrepreneurial mindset and ideas, passion for innovation and strong determination to build and run startup as career.
Admission Procedure: To facilitate the admission, process a specially designed online national level Common Entrance Examination on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CET-IE) 2020 is scheduled to be held on 5th September 2020 as one of the qualifying examinations.
About MBA/PGDM in IEV: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has introduced a unique 2 years’ full time PGDM / MBA program in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEV) in the year 2019.
This is an action oriented program to provide opportunities for students to work and develop problem solving innovations, acquire entrepreneurship skills and build ventures as part of curriculum.
This program is an initiative under the National Innovation and Startup Policy of MHRD’s Innovation Cell and AICTE with an objective to make Indian higher education system to produce new generation entrepreneurs capable of building innovative and simultaneously earning master degree.
For the academic year 2020-21, a total of 15 Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) have received approval from AICTE to offer an innovative and incubation centric 2-year full-time PGDM/MBA program in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEV).
Enthusiastic candidates with creative tendencies, entrepreneurial potential, and intent to pursue innovation and startups as a career are invited to take admission into this program.

Uniqueness of Program: Course is designed to provide more experiential learning opportunities and to practice innovation and entrepreneurship and skill set for building startups. By design, incubator will deliver the course and students will get access to co-working space and facilities of pre-incubation and incubation to develop innovations and further to startups.
Preference of Institutes: Every applicant has to choose minimum 5 institute(s) of their interest to take admission upon final selection.
Registration Fee: All payments towards registration fee to be made through online mode only. Registration fee for appearing online test for different categories as below

- General/ OBC Male Candidates: INR 500/-
- All Female Candidates: INR 250/-
- SC/ ST/EBC/PWD Candidates: INR 250/-
Registration: Application must be done online only by using the registration link (http://cet.cbtexam.in) in AICTE webpage (www.aicteindia.org) and MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC) webpage (www.mic.gov.in).
Test Mode: Proctored online test will be held.
Online Test and Time Period: Total duration of online exam will be 90 minutes with 30 minutes’ as preparation time. Tentative time for CETIE will be 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
Syllabus & Questions: Total 150 numbers of questions with all objective and multiple choice related to innovation, entrepreneurship, IPR, startup under following sections (all the questions will be in English only).
- Quantitative Aptitude/Business Mathematics
- Awareness of Business/Start-up Affairs
- Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
- Reading Comprehension
- Psychometric Assessment.
Final Selection: Each Institute will carry out GD/PI separately for the eligible/shortlisted candidates preferred for admission upon selection during the registration.
Each institute will display the dates and time for GD/PI in institute’s webpage and also communicate to candidates immediate after the result announcement regarding GD/PI those have opted their institute for admission.
Admission Period: As per AICTE guideline, admission process and commencement of class will be completed before 15th October 2020 (revised AY 202-21 Admission).
