The candidates those who have been completed B.Tech are roaming without any work and responsibility. They are becoming a burden to their families because they are unable to do any other work. the rest of the graduates are working without any co-relation the degree they opted.
These have another opportunity to pursue B.Ed and work as a teacher. Which is the most responsible job, where the person can get complete satisfaction? From this academic year, B.E and B.Tech students are eligible to write Ed.CET along with other B.A,B.Com, B.Sc.students. So, It is good news for all engineering students. They are eligible to pursue B.Ed and it is applicable to the next academic year.
NCTE has changed the rules according to the new requirement. But it is not decided on the subjects to opt. Actually there are 5 subjects in B.Ed. according to TS Ed.CET convenor it may be chance to select maths or physics.
Till now, B.Ed is One year course, but this will be 2(two) years as per NCTE New guidelines. the staff is going to be increased 16 from 8 including the principal. This year all the seats may fill up due to the new permission and fee reimbursement and there is a chance in an increase of new colleges. B.Tech. students can apply for B.Ed. Course from next year.
B Tech graduates can do B Ed: The decision taken by the National Teachers’ Educational Council allowing the B Tech graduates to do B Ed is a boon to the technical students but a bane to the traditional degree holders. Generally, the technical candidates are cleverer than the candidates of Arts and Sciences.
They are sure to perform well to hit their desired target. The ordinary B Tech students who remain unemployed can become teachers. But the students of general degree will remain jobless unable to bear the tough competition from them.
All this shows that there is a delinking of jobs from degrees. It is not yet decided which subject can be opted for in BEd course. It is likely to invite some more problems. The central and the state governments offer some fees concession to promote Science and Technology. If the B Tech graduates want to do B Ed for getting a job easily, there may be an imbalance in the employment opportunities and it will create some furore among the educated youth.
Engineering graduates who wish to pursue a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course have a reason to rejoice. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has relaxed the norms and allowed Engineering graduates to pursue B.Ed courses. Now, Engineering graduates can take up a course in Mathematics and Physical Science Methodology. Though the council relaxed the norms, it came with a rider.
As per the NCTE criteria, Engineering graduates with Mathematics background in Intermediate and Engineering course are only eligible for B.Ed course in Mathematics. Students who want to study Physical Science Methodology should have Physical Science and Chemistry in their Intermediate education and Engineering.

Engineering Students are Eligible for B.Ed & TS TET. The Telangana State government has given the opportunity to write the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for BTech students who are studying B.Tech. The BTech graduates from the year 2015-16 academic year allowed the government to admission in the BEd course and now they could not write to the tet. So, Students, experts and teacher unions have asked the government that they don’t mean to disqualify to appear the TSTET. The government took the decision on June 24, giving them the opportunity. The present second-year BEd candidates that are the second year and the fourth semester (2015-17 batch) paper-2 candidates also can be written, said the convenor of the TET convenor.
