Direct benefit transfer scheme: ‘Rythu Bandhu’ (Telangana’s pioneering farm input assistance) assistance of Rs 5,000 per acre per season is provided across the board to all farmers in the State irrespective of their landholdings. Apart from providing incentives to the farmers to carry on their day-to-day life, many insecticides/pesticides will be provided to them in order to take care of their crops. Under the Rythu Bandhu scheme (Agriculture Investment Support Scheme), the farmers will get incentives for their day to day work. In order to maintain the health of the crop, they will be provided with insecticides and pesticides.

Also, labour and other investment will also be provided to farmers who can’t manage their finances. This scheme will help the farmers sell more and make them financially stable as well. In order to avail this Rythubandhu scheme, the farmers must be a resident of Telangana state and must own the land. The scheme is applicable for small and marginal farmers and commercial farmers are excluded from the scheme.

Telangana Rythu Bandhu amount would be deposited into the accounts of farmers owning over five acres from 05-07-2022. Till date, the Telangana government has deposited Rs 3,946 crore into the accounts of 51.99 lakh farmers, who own up to four acres of land. The amount of investment support under Rythu Bandhu scheme was disbursed for 78.93 lakh acres. All the eligible farmers should get Rythu Bandhu assistance.

Under the Rythubandhu scheme, almost 58.33 lakh farmers are provided Rs.5000 per acre per season to support the farm investment twice a year, for Rabi and Kharif seasons. The State government is crediting (Rythu Bandhu amount) financial support amount of Rs 5,000 per acre into the bank accounts of eligible farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme under under Rythu Bandhu financial support scheme for the current Vaanakalam (Kharif) season. Farmers who are availing the scheme for the first time, must submit necessary documents to the agricultural extension officers and register their names.

  2. Click on All schemes link

    Once your reach the official Telangana Treasury website, click on all schemes link on the home page.

  3. Enter PPBNO

    After clicking on that link, a new web page will be opened, there you can view the options year. Type and PPBNO in this page.

  4. Select the year

    Now, select the year and the scheme you are looking for followed by your PPBNO details. Finally click on the submit button.

  5. Check the money status

    After clicking on the submit button, you can now view the status page. If the Rythu bandhu money has been released, then the date of payment will be visible on the screen. Else, if the application is pending, you can get the amount within one week.
