Candidates who have cleared the JEE Advanced and are participating in the counselling can check their names in the list once it is released online on the official website – josaa.nic.in.
The second allotment list has been released by JOSAA for JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2020 qualified candidates.
Second Round JoSAA Seat Allotment Result 2020: The JoSAA 2nd Round Allotment Result 2020 is now available on josaa.nic.in. Students can check the second allotment result by clicking on the direct link provided below for the official website. Important instructions regarding Dual Reporting and shifting of colleges after a subsequent allotment are listed below.
Candidates have two days for reporting to the respective reporting centres. Candidates can report for document verification. The third allotment list would be released on October 26, 2020.

How to check Second Round JoSAA Seat Allotment Result 2020
- Visit the official website at josaa.nic.in
- On the homepage, click the link that reads, ‘view seat allotment result of round-2’.
- Enter your credentials and login
- JoSAA first allotment list 2020 will be displayed on the screen
- Download it and take out a print.
Students may please note that in case they fail to report to the reporting centres, his/her name would be removed from the allotment list and would not be eligible for participating in the subsequent rounds. Students who were not listed in the first allotment list and fail to get a seat in the second allotment may check the third allotment list which would be released on Saturday.
Important instructions, list of reporting centres as well as Top 20 percentile list for eligibility of NIT and IITs is available on the official website josaa.nic.in. Candidates are advised to go through the same and check the list of documents required that they need to get verified at the reporting centres.
Please note that Unfilled General EWS category seats and OBC NCL category seats, if not filled, would be re-reserved and considered as Open Category seats in every round of seat allocation.
The rule, however, does not apply to ST, SC category seats which would continue to be considered within the category. Most importantly, Candidates who are allocated a seat in an NIT, IIEST, IIIT or Other-GFTI have to report only at a reporting center of NIT, IIEST, IIIT and Other-GFTI. Similarly, candidates allocated a seat in an IIT have to report only at a reporting center of the IITs.

To look into the process flow differences between the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) counselling, a Technical Committee was constituted under the Chairmanship of Director, IIT-Kharagpur.
