Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University has issued Civil Services Free Coaching for Prilims Notification 2015 on December 1, 2014 and the MANUU CSE invites Applications for Coaching from Minorities and Women aspirants eligible for appearing in the Civil Services Examination 2015.
Prelims (PRM15) to be held in August, 2015, So MANUU CSE provides for Free Residential Coaching Programme at its Campus in Gachibowli Hyderabad from 6th February, 2015. Nominal fee of Rs.2,575/- (Registration Rs.500, library Rs.1000, Medical Rs.225 & Health Insurance Rs.850) and Rs.3, 000/- (Caution Refundable deposit) will be charged. Selection of candidate for the Coaching will be on the basis of an Entrance Test and Interview. 20% of the enrolled students will be given stipend of Rs.2,000/- per
month on merit cum means and other laid down criteria.
Entrance Test will be held at notified Centres in Bangalore, Bidar, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Kurnool, Lucknow, New Delhi, Patna, and Srinagar (Subject to availability of sufficient number of applicants at any particular centre). Admission will be based on the Merit of Entrance test & Interview.

Scheme of Entrance Test for Prelims 2015
The Entrance Test will be of 2 hours duration, carrying 200 marks and two sections. Section I and section Section I will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions). 75 questions will be asked, each carrying 2 marks (75×2=150). First 50 questions will be based on syllabus of Paper I, UPSC Preliminary Test (2014). Last 25 questions will be based on syllabus of Paper II. Under section II, 4 topics will be given and the candidate has to write an essay on any one. It carries 50 marks (1×50=50). Short-listed candidates will be called for interview which carries 50 marks. Final selection will be based on combined marks of Entrance Test and Interview.
For convenience of preparation, weightage and suggested readings are given in the table which is an indicator of pattern of question paper. About 25 per cent of questions are likely to be inter-disciplinary, hence may be accounted for more than one broad area. Suggested readings are most basic on which an aspirant is expected to be thorough. Questions may also be framed from other relevant books/study material. To have an idea regarding the nature of questions under section I, aspirants are advised to refer to the Civil Services Preliminary Examination Papers I and II of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 available on UPSC website (www.upsc.gov.in). For section II, aspirants may refer Main Examination Papers on Essay.
