Ray of Hope for Old DSC and DSC 1998: Achieving a job is not a simple thing. Achieving undergoes a lot of hard work, stress, time, planning, proper presentation. If we see 98-DSC the selected candidates they have completed their inter/degree and D.Ed/B.Ed and overcome D.SC and at last, they selected in that DSC. But luck did not favor them due to many reasons like cut off marks, irregularity of officials. They are waiting, fighting.
If we observe this incident which took place in Karimnagar we have to think a while because due to some official/authorities mistakes 102 members of DSC-2002 worked for 2 years and removed from their duties mentioning they are in eligible and appointed other eligible candidates. Those candidates are fighting and the case is in court. We have to wait that the court gives its decision only for appealed candidates or total candidates. As case is in supreme court it is a dilemma that officials wait till decision comes or takes decision before that.
As the first CM of our Telangana he has a vision and proper understanding about each and every incident and he is in positive version, selected candidates are waiting with many hopes. If CM action is in positive way many lives brightens and shows the brighter path for their future. The government will take an action on this issue. So, all of us wishes the to take positive decision. So, be positive and with hope.
Jobs under DSC-1998 – TS Govt to seek AG’s view: The TS govt has decided to take Advocate-General’s opinion before giving teacher jobs for the candidates qualified in the earlier District Selection Committee (DSC) examinations. The decision was taken during a review meeting convened by Deputy CM and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari with the Directorate of School Education officials in the Secretariat.
A top official in the department said there were over 6900 candidates who got selected in the DSCs held from 1998 to 2012 but could not get postings due to various reasons in the united Andhra Pradesh state. Candidates of various DSCs have different issues and some are in courts. The government may give posting for all the selected candidates.
The issue came into light as some 1998 DSC selected candidates approached CM K Chandrasekhar Rao asking for postings. It may be recalled that the CM promised that justice would be done for all the eligible candidates in earlier DSC examinations. Accordingly, he directed the education department to calculate the loss to the already selected candidates apart from exploring legal ramifications if posting are given to them. During the meeting with the minister, the officials have presented the problems that would arise if earlier DSC selected candidates are given postings.
Ray of Hope for Old DSC and DSC 1998: According to the sources in Directorate of School Education, the candidates may face legal hurdle in 20 to 30 different issues. A few issues include, whether 1998 DSC selected candidates be given postings with the current date or with 1998 year. If given posting as per 1998 year, will it stand test of the law, officials in the department say.
Another issue is the pension scheme. The new pension scheme came into force in September 2004. If posts are given to 1998 DSC selected candidates, should they be under the old pension scheme or new pension scheme. That apart, the department is exploring options of taking an affidavit from the selected candidates stating that they require only posting but not the benefits from the last a few years.
But this may face legal problems in the future. A senior official of the department have reportedly spoke to the selected candidates for exploring the proposal and candidates were affirmative to the proposal.
