Telangana Summer Camps/Special Summer Schools Additional Guidelines

Telangana Summer Camps, TSSA, Warangal, Project Officer has issued additional instructions on Summer Camps/Summer Schools to all the School Complex Headmasters in Warangal district for taking necessary action through Mandal Educational Officers concerned and also given to all the Mandal Educational Officers in Warangal district for taking necessary action.

In continuation of the orders issued vide references cited above, the attention of the Mandal Educational Officers in the district is invited to the following aspects of summer camps.Telangana Summer Camps

  1. Teleconference:
    Instructions may be issued to all the Headmasters, CRPs to attend the teleconference at MRC or identified venue on 21st April, 2015 from 10.00 AM to 4.30 PM in your mandal.
  2. Parents Meeting:
    Instructions may be issued to all the Headmasters to conduct parents meeting on 23rd April, 2015. The Headmasters shall ensure the following:
    i. Letter from SPD’s Desk: Headmaster should read out the letter from the State Project Director addressed to Parents.
    ii. Radio-talk by SPD from 10.00 AM to 10.30 AM: The Headmaster should tune in the radio for radio-talk and arrange for seating arrangements of the parents in such a way that they can hear the SPD’s radio talk without disturbance. The Headmaster shall also encourage the parents and students to talk to the SPD in the phone in programme that follows.
    iii. Discussion points: Headmasters should also discuss the following issues with the parents, about their wards’ attendance.
    Attendance
    Achievement levels
    Areas to be improved
    Care to be taken during summer
    Responsibility of parents in shaping the behavior and improving the achievement levels.
  3. Pre test & post test:
    To ensure the conduct of pre test on 27th April and post test on 29th of May, 2015 for summer camps students.
  4. Valedictory Meeting:
    The CRPs may be informed to conduct a Valedictory Meeting on 30th May, 2015 showcasing the improved achievement levels of children, the Arts, Crafts, Songs, Stories learnt by the children in the summer camp. This shall be held in the presence of Parents and Local Public Representatives.
