Telangana State Govt Jobs 2022: Junior & Field Assistants, Typist and Other Posts Recruitment

In what should bring cheer to the youth in the State eagerly waiting to apply for government jobs, Chief Minister announced that a notification to fill vacant posts in various departments would be issued. He said the notification would be issued for filling vacant posts including those related to teachers and police personnel. He instructed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to gather details of vacant posts in all the departments across the State.

“As per preliminary information, there are as many as 50,000 vacant posts covering all government departments in the State. There is a need to recruit thousands of teachers and police personnel also. Thus, officials must collect the information not only pertaining to teachers and police but also posts that are lying vacant in all the departments,” the Chief Minister said.

Stating that information on the number of employees required in each department should also be collected, he said after completing the exercise, a notification will be issued.

Notifications will be issued soon to fill all the vacant posts in the state along with teacher and police jobs. Preliminary information is that there are about 50,000 vacancies in various departments in the state. All of them need to be filled.

Thousands of teachers and police are to be recruited. The way has been paved for the recruitment of government jobs in the state. Notifications are likely to be issued for the filling up of more than 50,000 posts in one to two months.

Most of the posts will be available in the education, police and medical departments. The state has not issued notifications for the recruitment of a large number of jobs after 2018. All the unemployed have been in deep distress for years. Now with the announcement of the CM they seem to have got the hang of it. They are all seriously immersed in preparation.

Above 15,000 posts in education department:

Education sources estimate that there are more than 15,000 vacancies in schools across the state. The Department of Education, which recruited 8,972 teacher posts in 2017, is likely to take steps to fill more than 15,000 more posts recently.

Vidya volunteers are currently working on teacher vacancies in schools. Last year, 15,661 academic volunteers worked in schools with a single teacher and schools without subject teachers. That is to say, the education sector has come to the conclusion that there are definitely teacher vacancies to that extent. In this context, the government is likely to recruit more than 15,000 teacher posts.

20,000 posts in police department:

Home ministry sources say 20,000 posts are vacant in the state police department. Notifications for the recruitment of those posts will be issued soon.

On the other hand, the government says 12,000 posts are vacant in the health department and 4,000 in the revenue department. In addition to these, the CM said it was OK to fill more than 50,000 posts, including vacant posts in other branches.

By TSPSC: The government had earlier announced that 1,10,012 posts were vacant in the state. Of this, 83,048 posts were sanctioned by the Finance Ministry. However, due to non-availability of clearances for the regulations by the respective departments, not all of them could be recruited.

Various agencies have issued notifications for the recruitment of 52,724 posts. TSPSC has issued notifications for the recruitment of 36,758 posts. Of these, 35,724 posts have been filled, according to a recent annual report submitted to the TSPSC Governor.

Old and new posts would be combined:

The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSL PRB) has given notification for the recruitment of 18,428 posts in 2018. This includes 16,925 constable posts and 1,503 sub-inspector posts. The results of the written test will be available by September 2019. Training for Civil and Armed Reserve (AR) constables, along with sub-inspectors, started by January this year.

The training of Telangana State Special Police (TSSP) has been severely delayed due to lack of grounds and corona lockdown. In the first week of October, 9,213 civil and AR constables completed their training and joined the service. Recently 1,162 sub-inspectors have completed the training. By this count 10,375 posts had been replaced.

On the other hand there are some posts that have been surrendered rather than replaced. It is estimated that up to 20,000 new jobs will be available, including newly created vacancies. Notification is likely to be issued for the replacement of those posts as per the directions of CM KCR.

The latest calculation should float: According to figures previously released by the state government,

  • 4,702 in higher education,
  • 3,673 in the Department of Agriculture,
  • 1,842 in the Department of Animal Husbandry,
  • 2,881 in BC Welfare Department,
  • There are 3,602 posts vacant in the forest department.

The government has already recruited some of these jobs. Now that the details of the latest vacancies in all the branches have been collected with the orders of the CM, the government will allow the issuance of notifications.
