Class VI (Men) -Category 1 – Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Sub Inspector (Police Transport Organization) Posts 2016 Recruitment Rules:
Recruitment Authority: Chairman, Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years and should not be more than 25 years of age as on 1st July of the year in which the notification is issued.
a) Educational Qualification: Must, as on 1st July of the year in which the notification is issued, possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Automobile Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, (OR) a qualification approved by the State Government as equivalent to any of the above.
b) Preliminary Written Test: Candidates shall be required to appear for a Preliminary Written Test in one paper (three hours duration) as given below. The syllabus for PWT paper will be from the Paper III of Annexure – VI.

Note :
1) The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test in the paper is 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs and 30% for SCs/STs/Ex-Servicemen.
2) Questions in the Paper will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue / Black Ball Point pen only. For this purpose candidates should bring Blue / Black Ball Point pens along with them.
c) Physical Measurements: The candidates should meet the following requirements
i) Height: must not be less than 162 centimeters.
ii) Chest: must not be less than 84 centimeters round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 4 centimeters.
Note : However, for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Aboriginal Tribes in the Agency areas of Mahaboobnagar, Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam should meet the following requirements:
i) Height: must not be less than 160 centimeters.
ii) Chest: must not be less than 80 centimeters round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 centimeters.

Note:
1) The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify in the final written examination in each paper is 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs and 30% for SCs/STs/Ex-Servicemen.
2) Paper-I is only qualifying in nature. The cases of the candidates who do not secure the minimum qualifying marks in this paper will not be considered further in the selection process irrespective of their performance in papers II and III. The marks secured in this paper i.e., the paper I will not be taken into account for final selection.
3) THE Paper I referred to above will include questions that are subjective and objective in nature. They have to answer the questions using the Blue / Black Ballpoint pen.
4) Questions in Papers II and III will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu languages. Candidates have to answer the questions on an OMR answer sheet using Blue / Black Ball Point pen only. For this purpose candidates should bring Blue / Black Ball Point pens along with them.
f) Selection: The final selection of the candidates will be made strictly on relative merit, as obtained by them based on their score in the final written examination in Papers II and III (300 marks) for the candidates who are qualified in Physical Efficiency Test. The provision of “The Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organization of Local cadres and regulation of direct recruitment) Order, 1975”, the rule of reservation to local candidates is not applicable.
Police Constable(Mechanics):
Class VI (Men) -Category 2 – Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constable (Mechanics) (Police Transport Organization)

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years and should not be more than 25 years of age as on 1st July of the year in which the notification is issued.
a) Educational Qualifications:- Must have passed SSC or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess an Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Wiremen OR Mechanic Motor vehicle OR Mechanic Diesel OR Fitter, as on 1st July of the year in which the notification is issued.
b) Physical Measurements: The candidates should meet the following requirements
i) Height: must not be less than 162 centimeters.
ii) Chest: must not be less than 84 centimeters round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 4 centimeters.

d) Trade Test:- The candidates who qualify in the above Physical Efficiency Test will be required to appear and qualify in a Trade test. The Chairman, Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board will constitute a committee for conducting this test with the officers from Police Transport Organization, Road Transport Corporation and Road Transport Authority. The candidates must qualify in the Trade Test carrying a maximum of 100 marks in ten parameters mentioned below.
Out of which at least 50 marks must be obtained. If a candidate secures less than the prescribed minimum marks in three or more parameters he would be deemed to have failed in the test even though he secures minimum marks i.e., 50 marks in the aggregate.

Trainee Police Constable (Driver) (Police Transport Org.)
Class VI (Men)-Category 3 – Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constable (Driver) (Police Transport Org.):
Recruitment Authority: Chairman, Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years and should not be more than 25 years of age as on 1st July of the year in which the notification is issued.
a) Educational Qualifications:– Must have passed 1) Intermediate examination or any other examination recognized as its equivalent by the State Board of Intermediate Education; (OR) 2) SSC or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess an Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Auto Electrician OR Mechanic Motor vehicle OR Mechanic Diesel OR Fitter. ii) Must have possess Light Motor Vehicle License continuously for a period not less than 2 years (or) Transport Vehicle license (HTV/HMV) continuously for a period of one year, as on date of notification issued.
Note – 1: Candidates who have Light Motor Vehicle/Transport Vehicle license, will be given weightage marks in the final selection, as detailed below: (A) Candidate who possesses Light Motor Vehicle license continuously for a period of full three years and below four years as on date of notification will be given 3 marks. (OR) (B) A candidate who possesses Light Motor Vehicle license continuously for a period of four years and above as on date of notification will be given 5 marks.
(OR) (C) A candidate who possess Transport Vehicle license (HTV/HMV) continuously for a period of full two years and below three years as on date of notification will be given 6 marks. (OR) (D) A candidate who possesses Transport Vehicle license (HTV/HMV) continuously for a period of three years and below four years, as on date of notification will be given 8 marks. (OR) (E) Candidate who possess Transport Vehicle license (HTV/HMV) continuously for a period of four years and above, as on date of notification will be given 10 marks
Note – 2 i) Candidates should furnish Driving License Information (Grant of issue of Driving License) issued by the licensing authority of the RTA concerned along with the Application form. ii) The Candidate will be given weightage marks either for possessing Light Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle License (HTV/HMV) whichever is more.
b) Physical Measurements: Candidates shall be required to appear for Physical Measurements and should meet the following requirements:- i) Height: must not be less than 162 centimeters. ii) Chest: must not be less than 84 centimeters round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 4 centimeters.

The candidates must qualify in the Driving Test carrying a maximum of 100 marks in eight parameters mentioned below out of which at least 50 marks must be obtained. If a candidate secures less than the prescribed minimum marks in three or more parameters he would be deemed to have failed in the test even though he secures minimum marks i.e., 50 marks in the aggregate.
