Telangana Gurukul CET (TGCET)

TGCET is a Common Entrance Test for Admission into 5th Class for the academic year in TREIS, TSWREIS, TTWREIS, MJPTBCWREIS 21st Century Schools. TG Gurukul CET (Telangana Gurukul CET) would be conducted in every for 5th class admissions in TREIS, SC, ST, BC Gurukulams. It is one entrance test for all gurukulam admissions in Telangana State.

GURUKUL(Residential School) Education which helps a person’s behavioural change to the expected level. He will be moulded as a statue by education from the state of rock. But all of them do not have such facilities to study in well-sophisticated schools. This is due to the illiteracy of parents, poor background etc.

For such people, Telangana Gurukul(Residential) educational society planned to take admissions into 5th class English medium (state syllabus) for the academic year by conducting this entrance test 35 General, 12 minority Gurukul schools are running under this society. (including a regional centre for excellence Telangana gurukul Boys school, Nalgonda DT).

TGCET, TS Gurukulam Common Entrance Test is 5th Common Entrance Test (Residential School’s Common Entrance Test) notification would be issued by TSWREIS Officials for admission in SC, ST, BC Gurukulams. Online application forms would be received from the 4th Class studying students. Telangana Government will fill the 240 seats in newly sanctioned in 119 BC Gurukulams.

Age limit for TS Gurukulams 5th Class Common Entrance Test: Candidates should have age between 9 to 11 years for General Students and 9 to 13 years for SC, ST Students.

Educational qualification for TGCET: The Students should be bonafide of Class IV during the academic year in any Government School or any recognized school of Telangana State.

Income Limit: The Parental income for the year should not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- per annum for rural areas and should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/- for  urban areas

Selection of Process: Selections of the process through Entrance Test. Admissions through counselling for selected candidates.

How to Apply: Before filling the application, read the prospectus carefully. Candidates can submit the application form online through website tgcet,cgg.gov.in. There is an Rs.50/ registration fee for submission of online application.
