Applications are invited online for recruitment to the post of Assistant Executive Engineers in various Engineering Services for a total of 309 vacancies in the scale of pay of Rs.37,100 – 91,450 from candidates within the age group of 18 – 42 years as on 01.07.2018. The proforma Application will be available on the Commission’s Website (https://psc.ap.gov.in) from 03/12/2018 to 24/12/2018 (Note: 23/12/2018 is the last date for payment of fee up to 11:59 midnight).
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the admit card /hall ticket of the APPSC AEE Prelims examination on February 8, 2019. The APPSC AEE hall ticket is available on the official website https://psc.ap.gov.in/. Candidates who applied for the AEE recruitment examination can visit the official website to check and download the APPSC AEE hall ticket 2019 for prelims. The candidates need to enter their user ID and mobile number to access the hall ticket.
After downloading the admit card, the candidates should carefully check all the details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, registration number, date, time, venue of the exam, exam day instructions and other relevant details. In case, there is any mismatch in the data, the same should be informed to the concerned authorities immediately for corrections.
On the day of the exam, the candidates need to carry the admit card along with photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, passport, PAN card, Voter ID card, driving license, identity card issued by Government for employees, etc.

APPSC Engineering Services Hall Ticket: How to download?

APPSC conducts a screening test if the number of applicants exceeds more than 25,000. Candidates who qualify in the screening test will appear for the main examination which will be a computer-based test. The screening test will have two parts. Part A will be General Studies and Mental Ability and will have the same syllabus for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering branches. Part A will have 50 questions carrying 50 marks.
Part B will be subject-specific and has a different syllabus for Mechanical and Civil, and Electrical Engineering branches. part B will have 100 questions carrying 100 marks. There are negative marking and 1/3rd of marks prescribed to a question will be deducted in case of a wrong answer.

Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s Website viz., https://psc.ap.gov.in. Once an applicant registers his/her particulars, a user ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR user ID through the Commission’s website.
The Commission conducts a Screening test in offline mode in case applicants exceed 25,000 in number as per G.O.Ms.No.150, Finance (HR-I, Plg & Policy) Dept., dated:08.08.2016 and likely to be held on 10/02/2019. The main examination in online mode for candidates selected in the screening test will be held through the computer-based test on May 14, 15 There would be objective type questions that are to be answered on computer system. In case any paper of the Examination is held in different languages, the candidate has to choose the medium in which he/she wants to write the examination and the paper will be valued with reference to that medium only.
A general Mock Test facility is available to the applicants to acquaint themselves with the computer-based recruitment test. The applicant can visit the website and practice the answering pattern under the MOCK TEST option available on the main page of the website https://psc.ap.gov.in.
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University as detailed below or equivalent thereto, as specified in the relevant Service Rules, indented by the departments as on the Date of Notification. Applicants must possess an Engineering Degree in relevant discipline.
No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he/she is less than 18 years of age and if he/she is more than 40 years of age as on 01/07/2019. *As per G.O.Ms.No 295 General Administration (Ser. A) Dept., Dt.23/09/2014 the upper age limit raised up to 6 years i.e from 34 to 40 years.
Age Relaxations: The upper age limit prescribed above is relaxable in the following cases:

REGISTRATION FEE (Application Fee): Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty Only) towards application processing fee and Rs 120/- (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only) towards Examination Fee. However, the following categories of candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee (Rs.120/-).
a) SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men.
b) Families having Household Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government. (Residents of Andhra Pradesh)
c) Un-employed youth in the age group of 18 to 40* years as per G.O.Ms.No. 439, G.A.(Ser.A) Dept., dated: 18/10/1996 should submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission.
d) Applicants belonging to the categories mentioned above (except Physically Handicapped Persons & Ex-Service Men) hailing from other States are not entitled to exemption from payment of fee and not entitled for claiming any kind of reservation.
Mode of Payment of Fee:
i) The Fee mentioned in the above paragraph is to be paid online through two different channels viz.,
(i) Online using Payment Gateway using Net Banking/ Credit card / Debit Card and (ii) AP Online Centers. The list of Banks providing service for the purpose of online remittance of Fees will be appended separately.
ii) The fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Failure to pay the examination fee, the application fee will entail a total rejection of the application.
iii) IPO’s / Demand Drafts are not accepted.
How to apply:
The Commission reserves the right to conduct the Examination either ONLINE based examination of objective type. Before applying for the posts, candidates shall register themselves as per the One Time Registration (OTR) through the Official Website for APPSC. Those who have registered in OTR already shall apply by login to their profile using their APPSC ID and Date of Birth as provided in OTR. The candidates who possess requisite qualification may apply online by satisfying themselves about the terms and conditions of this recruitment.
Computer-Based Recruitment Method:
The recruitment test will be in the Computer Based Recruitment Method. The objective type question papers are to be answered on the computer system. Instructions regarding this computer-based recruitment test are detailed in the Annexure – III.
