The JNV selection test, NVST 2021 would be conducted every for admission in to Class 6 in all Navodaya Schools across India.
For the academic year 2021-22 Navodaya Entrance Exam will be held on the notified date for all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. The selection test is held in English, Hindi, and the regional languages of each state. The entrance test is conducted for 80 objective type questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
The three sections are Mental Ability, Arithmetic Test, and Language Test. According latest reports, over 40 lakhs students are expected to apply for JNVST, for the academic session 2021-22, for admission to Class 6. Only the candidates from the district concerned where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened are eligible to apply for admission. At present, 661 Vidyalayas are sanctioned in 27 States and 08 Union Territories.

A candidate is appearing for this selection test must be studying in Class 5 for the whole of the academic session 2020-21 in a Government /Government aided or other recognized schools or ‘B’ certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where he / she is seeking admission.
