Telangana Social Welfare Residential Schools: Notifications have been issued for admissions from Class V to Degree under Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Society. There are a total of 230 schools under the Social Welfare Society. Of these, admissions will be done by TGCET for Class V admissions.
There are 42 inter colleges for boys and 85 inter colleges for girls under TSWREIS. The Society conducts Common Entrance Test i.e., TSWRJC CET for admissions. Admissions for the degree will be through TGUGCET. In addition, admissions are made to TSWRCOE, Armored Preparatory Colleges, and Sainik Schools.
The schools of Telangana social welfare gurukuls are not limited to education but are paving the way for the all round development of the student. Special schools and academies are being set up and special facilities are being provided to promote all fields.
Laying the foundations for students to grow in the military, police, arts, games, songs, and other fields depending on their interests. These schools are providing study to the student and giving confidence to the parents. Gurukuls in Telangana stand as an ideal for the country. Gurukuls also provide support to enhance the talents of the students.
IIT, JEE, NEET Coaching: A free training center is running at Gurukul Vidyalaya in Gaulidoddy, Hyderabad. Training for admissions in Engineering, Medicine, IIT colleges, NEET, CLAT, CAT is free of cost. 28 colleges across the state, including Gaulidoddi, have been converted into Centers of Excellence. Many of these are training for entrance exams.
Young women for national defense: Yadadri has set up the Armed Forces Preparatory Women’s College in Bhubaneswar district center to train students who want to join the Army and Police. They are trained here to join the Defense Forces like Military, Navy, Air Force, CRPF, CISF.
34 Vocational Colleges: Gurukul Society has started 34 Vocational Colleges to develop skills. These include Pre-School Teacher Training, Electrical Technician Course, Agricultural Crop Production, Commercial Garment Technology, Medical Lab Technician, Computer Science, Accounts and Taxation, Assistant Ship, Insurance, Insurance and Insurance. Making certain types of kits with children and organizing exhibitions.
Earth Schools: The concept of Earth Schools has been introduced in Gurukul schools to introduce children to rural India. Students are given field trips from an early age to educate them on agriculture, horticulture and environmental conservation.
Coding Schools: The old motto is those who did not know letters they are illiterate. Today’s slogan is that those who did not know about computer and those who are not good at coding are digitally illiterate. The future is all about digital literacy associated with coding. In this context, many gurukuls were converted into coding schools. These include teaching C ++, PHP, Python, HTML and other languages. Kids are getting ready to make videogames.
Sainik School Rukmapur: Karimnagar District Choppadandi Mandal has set up a school for social welfare military gurukul in Rukmapur. It was launched on the lines of the Sainik School aspired for the 2018-19 academic year. Apart from education from 5th class to Inter, here is also training for the National Defense Academy, Naval Academy and Police jobs. Advocates for education, discipline, and exercise from the elementary level.
School of Fine Arts: Practice and training are essential to excel in the arts. Poor students who are interested in learning these are frustrated with not being able to afford to spend money on training in private institutions.
The School of Fine Arts was established at Malkajgiri in Hyderabad to teach ‘sarigama’ to such people. Teaches Carnatic music, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Western music, dance, melody, tabla, guitar, keyboard, theater and fine arts. Curriculum based on NCERT, Telugu University Curriculum. Morning lessons, music lessons are taught from 2 -5 p.m.
Sports Academies: Games are the path to children’s growth. Following this principle, game songs are given high priority by the Gurukul Vidyalayas. Established 23 sports academies in the state. These include training in cricket, golf, athletics, boxing, judo, wrestling, football, softball, volleyball, kabaddi, chess, handball and more. Many of them trained and were selected for national competitions and harvested medals.
