RRB Recruitment 2023 or RRC Railway Recruitment 2023 for various posts in Indian Railways and these jobs would be filled up by the Railway Recruitment Board, RRC Recruitment Important Dates, RRB Group D Posts, RRB Group C Level I Posts, RRB Group II Level Posts, RRB Group C Posts. Railway Recruitment Board, RRB has released multiple notifications for filling 91, 307 vacancies across various posts.
The vacancies range from Assistant Loco Pilot to Technicians to Apprentice. Railway Recruitment Board has announced the much-awaited RRB NTPC, Group D Exam Dates for candidates who have applied for these jobs. The examination as announced earlier would begin from December 15 onwards.
Railways are all set to recruit 1.40 lakh posts through this examination drive. The exams that would begin from December 15 onwards are RRB NTPC, Isolated & Ministerial categories, and Railways Level 1. RRB Group D (Level-1) recruitment examination for more than 1.03 lakh posts would be conducted between April to June 2023.
Under the Group D category, Railways will recruit for 1,03,769 posts of Track Maintainers, Pointsman, etc. As per the official data, 1.15 crore applications have been received for these posts. RRB would conduct an exam for the NTPC category to fill 35,208 posts. NTPC exams would begin on December 18 and would conclude by end of March 2023. Around 1.26 crore candidates have applied for the exam.
The exam to fill 1663 posts under Isolated & Ministerial categories would begin in December. Around 1.03 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the computer-based exam. As for the admit card, the same would be released on the various RRB regional websites 10 days before the examination. The exam city and date would be announced earlier.
The RRB refers to Railways Recruitment Boards and RRCs are the Railways Recruitment Cells. While there are 21 RRBs, there are only 16 RRCs. RRBs are named after cities and RRCs are divided into zones encompassing multiple cities.

Indian Railway exams will begin on December 15. The RRB NTPC, Group D, MI exams will be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). The railway ministry has also announced the date from which the exam will begin. The detailed schedule of the exam and the admit cards of the exam are yet to be released.
RRB Admit Card: As per the details shared by the RRBs in the exam notice, the admit cards will be released 4 days before the commencement of the exam. RRBs will release the free travel authority for candidates belonging to SC, ST category who have opted for free rail travel facility.
10 days prior to the exam candidates will be intimated about the exam date and city details. RRBs have asked candidates to write a paragraph of self-declaration on the admit card. For this purpose, a blank space will be available in the admit card.
Likewise, blank spaces will also be available for signature and left thumb impression. “Candidates should leave blank spaces provided in the downloaded e-Call letter for writing self-declaration paragraph (as the paragraph will be displayed on the screen during CBT), signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) unfilled while coming for the exam,” RRBs have said in the official exam notice.
Candidates should carry one color photograph (of size 35 mm x 45 mm) which was uploaded in the application, for appearing in the test. Since the computer-based test will be held in different shifts, marks obtained by the candidates will be normalised to decide the final merit list.

For the RRB NTPC exam, Indian Railways has received more than 1.2 crore applications against 35,208 vacancies. For the RRB Group D exam, a total of 1,15,67,248 applications have been registered against 1,03,769 vacancies. The application for all the vacancies is currently under process and candidates interested can fill the online application forms. SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates would be required to appear in a Computer Based Test or CBT. Based on the performance in the CBT, which would be a 90 marks paper with negative marking, candidates would then be called for medical tests or Physical Efficiency Test or PET. ALP/TECHNICIAN GRADE III: 1. Eligibility criteria: Matriculation/SSC/ITI or diploma, degree qualification. 2. Age limit: 18-30, relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC Category is by three years and OBC is by five years.
3. Application fee: For unreserved: Rs 500; For SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Disability/Women/ Minorities/ Transgender and Economically Backward Classes: Rs 250. Age Limit: 18 – 30 years.
