Telangana government announced summer holidays for schools and colleges from April 27. All the schools and junior colleges were given holidays from April 27 to July 21. The reopening of schools and junior colleges will be decided by Telangana Government later considering the COVID-19 situation on July 1. The last working day of the academic year 2020-21 was April 26. The Telangana Government has decided to resume classes in offline mode in all educational institutions from July 1. The decision to resume classes in physical mode has been taken after examining the reports submitted by the Telangana Medical and Health Department officials and considering that Covid19 cases have decreased and the coronavirus situation is now under control in Telangana. Director of School Education has given instructions for Schools Reopening to all DEOs, MEOs and School Heads in Telangana State. TS Schools to Reopen on July 1 for Teachers and Students physically. As per the DSE Telangana Proceedings Rc.51, Dated: 15-06-2021, Summer Holidays extended to all Teachers till 20-06-2021. So, TS Schools Reopening Day is 21-06-2021. All educational institutions including schools and colleges in Telangana state will reopen from July 1. Students will be allowed to attend physical classes amid strict COVID-19 precautions. School Education officials plan to start the new Academic year on June 21. Due to Corona, DSE is expected to start Online‌ Classes to TS School Students 2021 as there is no opportunity to conduct live classes. These proposals will be sent to the government soon seeking permission for this. The new Academic year is about to begin with bridge courses. From June to August, students will be taught the same subjects as bridge courses. The Central Ministry of Education has directed to conduct these bridge courses as part of re-teaching and revision of important subjects of the last academic year. Suggested making these arrangements as part of preventing learning loss. SCERT has been entrusted with the responsibility of designing the curriculum for these courses. A decision on reopening schools and junior colleges will be taken on June 1.
