APPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2023, Apply for group 1 services posts at psc.ap.gov.in

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued the APPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2023 or APPSC Group 1 Posts Recruitment 2023 notification on its official website, psc.gov.in and Applications are invited online from the eligible and interested candidates for recruitment to the post of Group 1 Services for a total of 92 vacancies from candidates within the age group of 18 – 42 years as on 01.07.2022.

All desirous and eligible candidates shall apply online after satisfying themselves that they are eligible as per the terms and conditions of this recruitment notification. Any application sent through any mode other than the prescribed online mode will not be entertained under any circumstances. Submission of application form by the candidate is authentication that he / she has read the notification and shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down there in the notification.

The preliminary recruitment test will be an objective-type examination whereas the Mains will be descriptive in nature. While the tentative date for the preliminary exam is December 18, the main exams are likely to be conducted in the second half of March 2023. Depending on the post, the pay ranges between Rs 54,060 to 1,51,370.

Educational Qualification: A candidate should possess the academic qualifications and experience including practical experience prescribed, if any, for the post on the date of the notification for direct recruitment issued by the concerned recruiting agency.

Age limit: Candidates age limit should have between from 18 to 42 years. No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he/she is less than 18 years of age and if he / she is more than 42 years of age as on 01/07/2018 as per G.O.Ms.No.132, GA (Service -A) Dept., dated:15.10.2018. Candidates should not be born earlier than 2nd July 1976 and not later than 1st July 2000. Age Relaxation is applicable to the categories as per the govt norms.

Application Fee and Exam Fee: Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) towards application processing fee and Rs 80/- (Rupees eighty only) towards examination fee. However, the reservation categories of candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee Rs.80/- only.

Selection Process: The Commission conducts Screening Test in offline mode in case applicants exceed 25,000 in number and Main Examination in online mode for candidates selected in screening tests. If the screening test is to be held 10-03-2019, the date of the screening test will be communicated through the Commission’s Website.

The main examination in online mode for candidates selected in the screening test will be held through the computer-based test on 10-06-2019 and 22-06-2019. There would be objective type questions that are to be answered on the computer system. Instructions regarding computer based recruitment test are attached as Annexure – III. In case any paper of the Examination is held in different languages, the candidate has to choose the medium in which he/she wants to write the examination and the paper will be valued with reference to that medium only.

How to apply: The proforma Application will be available on the Commission’s Website (https://psc.ap.gov.in) from 07-01-2019 to 28-01-2019 (Note: 27/01/2019 is the last date for payment of fee up to 11:59 midnight). Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s Website viz., https://psc.ap.gov.in. Once an applicant registers his/her particulars, a user ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID.

Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR user ID through the Commission’s website. The applicant is required to visit the Commission’s website regularly to keep herself updated until completion of the recruitment process. The Commission’s website information is final for all correspondence. No individual correspondence by any means will be entertained under any circumstances.
