APPSC Recruitment Calendar 2023 for filling up Jobs in AP. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has released a calendar for recruitment of Jobs in the year 2023 for various categories like Group-1, 2, 3, 4, Panchayat Secretary, Engineers, Assistant Motor vehicle Inspector and so on. The vacancies are still to be cleared by the Finance Ministry of the Government and the details of vacancies will be available at the time of the announcement of the exams.

Job aspirants, in the State, are awaiting the annual calendar which would help them to manage time for the exam preparation. Many government recruitment bodies like UPSC, SSC and others, which are solely responsible for the recruitment process, release the recruitment/ exam calendar annually.

The calendar would have details like the exam name, duration of application process, exam date, expected date of result, etc. The Commission would conduct main exams for few major recruitment in February-March. These exams were initially scheduled to be held in October-November.

NOTE:
1. The above notifications would be issued subject to Finance clearance from Government and furnishing of indents by Unit Offices.
2. In case Government accords clearance for other than the posts mentioned above, the notifications and examinations shall be scheduled accordingly.
3. For certain recruitment where number of applications is expected to be less than 25000, the main examination is proposed. The Commission conducts Screening Test in Off-line mode in case applicants exceed 25,000 in number and Main Examination in Online-mode for candidates selected in screening test. Starting this year Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, APPSC, which handles the recruitment and appointment of government jobs, would release the yearly job calendar. Andhra Pradesh Govt will release the annual recruitment calendar. With this the APPSC would be in the line of UPSC, SSC, IBPS and few other state public service commissions. Yearly calendars would help candidates manage their time for exam preparation.

The exam calendar would have details on the exam name, date of notification, starting and ending date of application process and date of exam (preliminary and main).

The AP Chief Minister directed the Commission to do away with the existing system of conducting interviews for the recruitment. He asked it to conduct only the written examination to ensure transparency in the recruitment process. Following AP CM decision, there will be no interviews for the recruitment to be made from January 2023.

APPSC is likely to delay fresh recruitment for 2023 as it has rescheduled few exams in February-March. The Commission had postponed forest range officer exam, main exam for lecturer post in polytechnic and degree colleges and exams for various gazette and non gazette posts. These exams were scheduled to be held in October-November, this year.
