State-owned telecom company, BSNL launched its FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) broadband scheme and it has also joined the high speed broadband race by launching Bharat Fiber. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has introduced new BSNL Fiber Plans 2023 across the India under Bharat FTTH broadband Scheme.
Bharat Fiber will offer high speed data and WiFi connectivity to the subscribers. Its Fiber to the Home technology has been upgraded and it will be an affordable yet able to meet the huge data demand of BSNL customers. The online bookings for the Bharat Fiber are available on the BSNL portal.
The BSNL company says that its fiber connectivity provides fix access platform to deliver the high speed broadband from 256 Kbps to 300 Mbps. Bharat Fiber (FTTH) is a unique technology being deployed by BSNL for the first time in India. The fiber connectivity having unlimited bandwidth and state of the art technology provides fix access platform to deliver the high speed broadband from 256 Kbps to 300 Mbps, IPTV having different type of contents like HDTV and future coming 3D TV and range of voice telephony services.
It provides a comprehensive solution for the IP leased line, internet, Closed User Group (CUG), MPLS-VPN, VoIP, video conferencing, video calls etc., whatever the services available on the internet platform, bandwidth on demand can be delivered by this connectivity to the without changing the access fiber and home device.
Customer will get a CPE called Home Optical Network Termination (HONT) consist of 4X100 Mpbs Ethernet ports and 2 normal telephone ports. Each 100 Mbps ports will provide broadband, IPTVs, IP Video call and leased line etc., as required by the customers. Customer will get power back unit having full load backup of four hours and normal backup of three days. This power backup will be AC input and connecting to the HONT on 12V DC.

Bharat Fiber Broadband Combo Tariffs
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, BSNL has started offering annual subscriptions for its recently launched Bharat Fiber broadband plans 2023 or BSNL Fiber Plans 2023 to save the hassle of paying monthly. The plans included in the annual subscription include BSNL Fiber Basic, BSNL Fiber Basic Plus, BSNL Fiber Value, BSNL Fiber Premium, BSNL Fiber Premium plus and BSNL Fiber Ultra.
Bharat Fiber plans were offered at a monthly tariff of Rs.499, Rs.599, Rs.799, Rs.999, Rs.1277 and Rs.1,499 depending on the speed. The only Bharat Fiber plan excluded from the annual subscription model is the Rs.449 plan. As per the BSNL tariffs, the annual subscription option is already available on four Bharat Fiber plans. Customers will get an additional one month free on payment of the annual fee for any of these four plans.

The four Bharat Fiber plans were launched in October . The Rs.599 Fiber Basic Plus, Rs.799 Fiber Value, Rs.999 Fiber Premium and Rs.1,499 premium Fiber Ultra offer speeds of 60Mbps, 100Mbps, 200Mbps and 300Mbps respectively. After the FUP limit of 3.3TB is reached, Fiber Value and Fiber Premium plans offer 2Mbps speed. With the Fiber Ultra plan, users get 4Mbps once the FUP limit of 4TB is crossed.
The annual subscription model can be a good move considering that it is offering an additional month free of cost, given many are still working from home and require a good, fast internet connection at home.
