NATA Admit Card 2022 download for National Aptitude Test in Architecture Exam

Council of Architecture, IHC New Delhi will release the NATA Admit Card 2022 for National Aptitude Test for Architecture examination. Candidates who will appear for the examination this year can download the admit card from the official website of NATA on The CA will conduct the First Test and Second Test of NATA examination on June 12 and July 7, 2022, respectively.

Candidates are required to qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by Council for admission to B.Arch. course. For each Applicant, an Admit Card will be generated according indicating the allotted Examination Centre for NATA and a downloadable version of the admit card will be published on the respective webpage of the candidate concerned. An Examination Roll Number will also be generated for each candidate.

Candidate has to download the soft copy of the Admit Card from the website and has to appear in the examination with a printed hard copy at the concerned Examination Centre indicated in the downloaded Admit Card along with one original photo identity card- Voter Card/ Pan Card/ Aadhar Card/ Driving License.

Candidates must ensure that the photograph and signature printed on the admit card are not mutilated /distorted / soiled even by accident. Candidates with such mutilated / distorted / soiled admit cards will not be allowed to appear in NATA-2021. All Candidates are advised to retain their admit cards carefully in secured place in undamaged condition in all respects as stated above till the completion of admission procedure.

NATA Exam Date

The aptitude test will comprise of questions that could be of the Multiple-Choice type (MCQ), Multiple Select type (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ) and Numerical Answer type (NAQ). The questions will carry either 1 mark,2 marks or 3 marks and 125 questions have to be answered in 180 minutes. The medium of Aptitude test will be the English language.

The aptitude of the candidate will be assessed using some or all of the following techniques:

  • Diagrammatic Reasoning – Tests the ability of logical reasoning, using diagrams and scenarios
  • Numerical Reasoning – Tests mathematical ability through simple problems
  • Verbal Reasoning – Assesses the ability to assess verbal logic.
  • Inductive Reasoning – Tests the ability to see patterns and analyse given data
  • Situational Judgment – Tests problem-solving ability.
  • Logical Reasoning – Tests ability to recognise patterns, sequences or relationships between shapes and imagery.
  • Abstract Reasoning – Will assess general knowledge, and ability to utilise knowledge in new situations.

The Council of Architecture has released the admit cards for the first session of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2021). Candidates can download their BArch admit cards by logging into the admission portal using their registered email id and password. The NATA BArch admit cards would consist of details such as the date and time of the entrance exam, exam centre, candidate’s name, date of birth and roll number.

Steps To Download NATA Admit Card

  5. Log in with your NATA application number and date of birth
  6. Your NATA admit card 2021 will be displayed on the screen
  7. Download and take a print out of your NATA admit card 2021 for the future needs

NATA will be held in two sessions. The second exam will be on 07-07-2022. The Council has already conducted the mock test. The mock test was mandatory for students who would appear for the first phase exam. Part A Test (Drawing Test) will not be a paper-based drawing test but as a preferential choice type test which is to be answered on a computer/laptop.

The admit card will carry all the necessary instructions along with COVID-19 safety guidelines. Candidates are advised to follow the guidelines. Moreover, candidates who want to appear for NATA exam may appear from their respective places of residence/stay or at the Council allotted test center in case they do not have network connectivity or technical/hardware resources such as PC, laptop, webcam, etc. The candidates will be provided with an option to appear for the exam either from home or test center in their respective login accounts. NATA Exam Pattern: The examination will be held for 200 marks. Candidates will have to answer 125 questions in 180 minutes. Questions will carry either one, two or three marks. The questions paper will comprise Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), Preferential Choice Questions (PCQ) and Numerical Answer Questions (NAQ).

Once both sessions of NATA are conducted, the COA will be releasing the scorecards of the candidates separately. In case, candidates appear for the both the sessions, COA will be considering the best out of two scores for admissions.
