RRB JE Recruitment Admit Cards, The Railway Recruitment Board has announced the Junior Engineer (information technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) examination date. According to the release, the JE (IT), DMS and CMA first stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held from May 22, 2023 onwards.
Candidates should note that the Admit Card for the said examination will be released four days prior to the commencement of the examination.
The RRB had announced the JE (IT), DMS, CMA recruitment in the January 2023 through the advertisement CEN. 03/2018. Important Date and Time for the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
RRB JE Recruitment 2023 : Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had invited application for junior engineer (JE) recruitment earlier on January 2 . The advertisement was released on December 29 . A total of 14033 vacancies were announced in the advertisement but later it was reduced to 13, 847 vacancies.
The recruitment process of RRB JE will involve two stages of exam: 1st stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd stage CBT, and document verification/ medical examination as applicable. Selection will be as per merit, on the basis of CBTs.
“The 1st stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The normalized score of 1st stage exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for 2nd stage exam as per their merit.
Candidates who are shortlisted for 2nd stage CBT availing the reservation benefits of a community, PwBD and ExSM shall continue to be considered only against that community for all subsequent stages of recruitment process,” the notification reads.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the e- call letter(Admit Card) for the recruitment exam for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), JE IT, depot material superintendent (DMS) and chemical and metallurgical assistant (CMA) on its official websites.
The examination will be held on May 22. According to the official notification released by RRB, the e- call letter will be released four days prior to the exam which means it can be download from May 18 onwards. However, there is no fixed time about its release.
RRB JE Admit Card Contains:
The e- call letter will mention the exam city, time and exam centre. Candidates are advised to bring one original photo ID card, passport size colour photograph, along with a printed copy of e- call letter without which candidates won’t be allowed to enter the examination hall.
The RRB JE admit card includes a number of things, such as:
The name of the candidate
The name of examination centre
The date of the exam
The address of the examination centre and directions to reach.
RRB JE Exam Pattern:
The duration of RRB JE CBT is 90 minutes. There will be 100 questions.The questions will be objective in nature. 1/3rd of marks obtained will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Candidates can login with their credentials on the above mentioned dates through the link to be provided on the official websites or RRBs for knowing their exam city, date, session, downloading train travel authority )for SC/ST candidates only) and e-call letter.
The duration of the first stage CBT will be 90 minutes in this stipulated time the candidates are required to solve 100 objective type MCQ.
Candidates should note that they need to bring original ID proof, e-call letter and passport size color photograph. Candidates with photo copy of ID proof or laminated copy of ID proof will not be allowed to appear in the examination hall.
