RRB NTPC Recruitment 2023, Apply Online for Non Technical Popular Categories. Govt Of India, Ministry of Railways has published the RRB NTPC Recruitment 2023 notification in the Employment News (23 February to 1 March ) as Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs)/CENTRALISED EMPLOYMENT NOTICE (CEN) No. 01/2019.

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) invite ONLINE applications from eligible candidates for vacancies for the posts of  NON TECHNICAL POPULAR CATEGORIES (NTPC) like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, etc. The opening date of registration of online applications is Feb 28 – RRB/CEN 01/2019.

Railway Recruitment Board, RRB has released a corrigendum regarding the on-going RRB NTPC Recruitment 2023 . As per the notice, now available on rrbmumbai.gov.in and other regional RRB websites, there have been a few changes in the requirements for EWS Category candidates as well as for candidates applying under the PWD category. The official notification is provided below. The changes have also been summarized for your convenience.

Candidates to kindly note that the online application forms would close on March 31. A total of 35,277 posts were notified by means of RRB CEN 01/2019 for NTPC recruitment. The notice released also further reiterates that the number of candidates to be selected for second stage CBT may be close to 20 times the total vacancy. This number, the corrigendum adds, may vary.

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2023 : Important changes as notified

As per the GOI notification, 10 per cent of the vacancies are reserved for EWS candidates. These are the candidates whose annual family income is less than 8 lakh rupees. The notification now adds that the candidates are required to provide an Income and asset certificate (annexure available in CEN 01/2019) for the financial year 2022-23 as the last date of notification is March 31 .

In regards EWS category, the other important change is that the candidates are required to provide proof that they are eligible for the reservation. However, in case a candidate is not able to provide requisite proof, his/her candidature would be considered under general category.

Also, the condition for scribe being a level below the candidate has been struck off. Also struck off is the Muscular Dystrophy and relevant Annexures from the PWD category.

Candidates are again reminded that candidates eligible for SC, ST, OBC-NCL category are not eligible to apply for EWS category. Also, the registrations for RRB NTPC close on March 31. Interested candidates are advised to apply online on any of the regional RRB websites. The RRB selected at the time of registration cannot be changes at any point of the recruitment process.

As per the official update released by RRB, the RRB NTPC Recruitment 2023 notification would now be released on March 1 . The online application would also be released.

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2023 : Railway Recruitment Board, RRB has released the detailed Central Employment Notification or CEN 01/2019 for Non Technical Popular Category posts. A total of 35, 277 NTPC Posts have been notified by the Indian Railways. The pay scale if of Level 2 to 6 which ranges from 19,900 per month to 35, 400 per month. RRB has released the detailed notification CEN 01/2019 inviting applications for 30,000 NTPC Railway Jobs. NTPC or Non Technical Popular Category refers to various Level 2 to 6 pay scale jobs ranging from Junior Clerk to Station Master. The notification has been released on various regional websites like RRB Mumbai, Ajmer, etc.

Age limit for Group A jobs is set at 18 to 30 years and that for Group B is 18 to 33 years.

Online registration for railway non-technical popular category (NTPC) posts will begin next week (February 28). The railway NTPC posts include junior clerk cum typist, accounts clerk cum typist, trains clerk, commercial cum ticket clerk, traffic assistant, goods guard, senior commercial cum ticket clerk, senior clerk cum typist, junior accountant assistant cum typist, commercial apprentice, station master, etc.

Recruitment to the NTPC posts will be conducted by the railway recruitment boards (RRB). The exact number of vacancies in NTPC posts is uncertain; however out of the total number of vacancies announced by the railways recently RRBs will supervise the recruitment of 30,000 posts.

RRB NTPC 2023 : Recruitment for the rest 1 lakh level-1 posts will be conducted by the railway recruitment cells. The level 1 posts include track maintainer grade IV, helper/ assistant, assistant points man and level 1 posts in other departments.

The official advertisement for 1,30,000 railway jobs has been released in the official website of the RRBs, RRC and the weekly edition of employment news. The recruitment of para medical staff and ministerial and isolated categories will also be done by the RRBs. While RRB, formerly known as the Railway Service Commission, conducts recruitment of Group ‘C’ and non-technical categories, the railway recruitment cell, formed in 2005, to recruit for group D posts.

Detailed CEN will be published on the official websites of all the participating RRBs, as indicated. The detailed CEN will be published in the official websites on the opening date of registration of online application of respective CEN. Vacancies indicated above and in the CEN are provisional and may increase or decrease in total or in specific units/communities/posts at a later stage depending upon the actual needs of the Railway administration.

Age as on 01.07.2019:

Pay and Allowances :

Educational Qualification:
Different educational qualifications are prescribed for various posts. For details please refer to the detailed CEN to be published on the official websites of RRBs, whichever applicable.
Candidates should ensure that they possess/fulfil all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post(s) as on the closing date of online registration.

Medical Standards: Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the prescribed Medical Standards for the post(s) for which they are applying. For this, they should refer to the medical standards for each post as available in the detailed CEN to be published on the official websites of RRBs. Candidates found medically unsuitable for the applied post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.

Reservation and suitability for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) : For details refer to the detailed CEN to be published on the official websites of RRBs. Reservation for Ex Servicemen (ExSM) : For details refer to the detailed CEN to be published on the official websites of RRBs.

Reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Candidates:

Examination Fee :
1. For all candidates except the fee concession categories mentioned below at SI. No 2. Out of this fee of Rs 500/- an amount of Rs 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT Rs 500/-
2 For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwBDs / Female /Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Class. This fee of Rs 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.: Rs 250/-

Candidates are required to go through the Post Parameter Table, Vacancy Table and ascertain their eligibility to apply through ONLINE mode to any one RRB only,

whichever applicable, depending upon their eligibility. The selection of RRB, whichever applicable, once exercised shall be final. Application to more than one RRB, whichever applicable, will lead to rejection of all the applications for the respective CEN.

Eligibility of the candidates will be considered only on the strength of the information furnished in the ONLINE Application. Candidates need NOT send printouts of application or Certificates or copies to RRBs concerned by post.

If at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in his/her application is false/incorrect or the candidate has suppressed any relevant information or the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post(s), his/her candidature will be rejected forthwith. After submission of application against the CEN(s), RRBs shall not entertain any representation for modification of the information furnished in the application.
