Department of Physical Education, Mahatma Gandhi University for the academic year 2020-2021. Beginning from this academic year, Bachelor of Physical Education will be a two(2) year course.
OU Physical Education Department Officials will invite the Online Applications from the eligible candidates for admission into two years B.P.Ed and two years UG D.P.Ed Courses offered by the universities and affiliated colleges in the Telangana State for this academic year 2020-2021.

Mahatma Gandhi University is going to conduct Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test 2020 (TSPECET 2020) and the schedule of the test has been released at TSCHE, Hyderabad. Physical Efficiency Tests will be conducted in July.
A Common Entrance Test designated as Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TSPECET 2020) will be conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University for the academic year 2020-2021 for seeking Admission into B.P.Ed.(2 Years) and D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Courses. The Last date to submission of Online Application form is April 13 for Common Entrance Test for the entry into the Physical Education courses.

Application Fee: Candidates can make the payment for TS PECET application form 2020 through TS Online centers or using debit card / credit card / net banking. The application fee is as per the table below.
Eligibility to Appear for PECET 2020:
Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for PECET 2020.
- Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.
- Candidates should belong to both states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
Eligibility for B.P.Ed.(Two years):
Candidates should have appeared third year degree final examination or passed three years degree recognized by any university in TS and AP or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto and should have completed 19 years of age on 01.07.2020. However, the candidate has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counselling.
Eligibility for U.G.D.P.Ed.(2 Years):
Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana State and should have completed 16 years of age. However, the candidate has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counselling.
The in-service Physical Education Teachers (P.E.Ts) seeking admission into B.P.Ed (One Year) Course or U.G.D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Course need not appear for any Entrance Test conducted by PECET Convener. They have to apply directly to the Director of School Education, Hyderabad through their respective D.E.O.s through proper channel. The Director of School Education will nominate a limited number of candidates to the respective colleges.
Note: Graduates obtained the degree under distance mode from Deemed to be Universities and Private Universities are not eligible unless such programs have the approval of joint action committee of UGC and Distance Education Council and AICTE.

Professor Satyanarayana Convenor for the TSPECET 2020 said, “So far 6,150 candidates have applied for the TSPECET 2020. Examiners who want to be active examiners can apply online.”
TS PECET Selection Process
TS PECET Exam Pattern / Scheme of Exam: The scheme of the test is PET (Physical Efficiency Test). The maximum 400 marks for each event and marks shall be given conversion tables approved by TS PECET Committee .
Applied students must face the two levels of the selection process to get the seat in PECET offered Colleges in Telangana State.

A. TS PECET is a Physical Efficiency Test: In this test, candidates are judged according to their performance in long jump / high jump. The grounds on which they are judged are 100 kn run, putting the shot, 400 meters run. This test is of 400 marks.

The candidates have to choose either high jump or long jump for the test, at the time of application. You cannot change the opted option at the time of test. Candidates with heart ailments or any such serious ailments and differently-abled persons should not appear for these PET.
B. Skill Test in Game: However, the Skill Test in Game has conducted for 100 Marks. The skills of the students will be tested in any one of the following games opted by the contenders.

How to Apply for TS PECET: Eligible candidates, who wish to apply for PECET 2020, may submit their applications through Online mode only. The Registration fee @ Rs. 800/- (Rs. 400/- for SC /ST candidates )may be paid at TSOnline or AP ONLINE centres / meeseva centres / e-Seva centres in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh /through payment gateway (Credit card / Debit card) from 17th March 2020.
Procedure To Submit TS PECET Application Form 2020

TS PECET 2020 Hall Ticket: Candidates can download admit card for TS PECET online from pecet.tsche.ac.in. TS PECET 2020 hall ticket can be downloaded by entering the login credentials which are registration number, date of birth, and qualifying examination Hall ticket number. Hall ticket consists of the details like name and address of the candidates, exam date, exam time, address of the exam center. Make sure the admit card is carried to the exam center in printed format. All students have to retain their admit card even after the exam is over. It is needed at the time of admission and counselling.
TS PECET 2020 Result: Result for TS PECET releases in the online mode at pecet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates can check their results by providing their hall ticket number and date of birth. TS PECET result is published in the form of a rank card. A merit list is also published on the official website after the declaration of results.
TS PECET 2020 Counselling: After the announcement of result, TS PECET the shortlisted candidates need to appear for the counselling. Candidates need to first appear at the helpline centers for the verification of documents. After that, candidates need to do select the options for courses and colleges online. Step 1: Application Fee Payment: The candidates have to first pay the application form fee before applying online. Step 6: Appear for TS PECET 2020 Counselling: The TS PECET Web BASE counselling will be conducted online one week after the results are announced. Qualified Candidates participate in web counselling process. Counselling involves like Fee payment for counselling process, Slot booking for Certificate Verification, Attend the Verification of documents, Exercise web options, Seat Allotment, Downloading Call Letter and report to the allotted college.
