TSPSC Prohibition & Excise Constable Posts Results, Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has published a recruitment notification for filling up 340 Excise/Abkari Police Constable Posts Posts in the Department of Excise. Scale of Pay: 15,460 – 47,330/-
Age limit: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 28 years. The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2020. Age Relaxations: The upper age limit prescribed above is however relaxable in the following cases:
1. Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months: 3 Years
2. Telangana State Government Employees (Employees of TSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities, etc. are not eligible): 5 Years based on the length of regular service.
3. Ex-Servicemen: 3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces
4. N.C.C.(who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C.): 3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C.
5. SC/ST and BCs: 5 Years
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution.
i) For Men:-
(a) Must not be less than 165 Cms in height.
(b) Must not be less than 81 Cms around the Chest on full expiration with a minimum expansion of 5Cms;
Provided that in the case of Candidates belonging to ST’s where the required quota cannot be fully utilized for want of sufficient candidates possessing the requisite height, it may be relaxed by 5 Cms. So that it shall not be less than 160Cms.
ii) For Women:-
(a) Must not be less than 152.5 Cms in height.
(b) Must not weigh less than 45.5 Kgs.
iii) Visual Standards:- All Candidates, including women for Direct Recruitment must be certified by Ophthalmic Surgeon (of the rank of Civil Surgeon in Government Service) to possess the following Visual Standards.
(a) Right Eye: Near Vision 0.5 (Snellen)
(b) Left Eye: Near Vision 0.5 (Snellen) Distance 6/6
(c) Each eye must have a full field of vision.
(d) Colour Blindness, Squint or any bordlid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye, knock, knees, pigeon chest, flat foot, varicose veins, hammertoes, fractured limbs or decayed teeth shall be deemed to be a disqualification.
Note:-The applicants should satisfy a competent Medical Board as to their fitness, Physical Requirements, Vision, etc., as provided for in the Rules at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process.
Important Note:- Preliminary Qualifying Test (PQT) and Physical Efficiency Test(PET) will be conducted after the Written Examination for those candidates who come up in Merit. Mere coming up in merit is not sufficient for Selection since candidates should also qualify in PQT & PET and should possess Physical Requirements as per Rules.
The Candidates who have to participate in PQT and PET are taking part at their own risk and solely responsible for any consequence arising during such period and after the tests as well. Those candidates who are picked-up in merit shall have to undergo the following tests at the appropriate time and they will be informed at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process.
Particulars of Preliminary Qualifying Test (PQT) and Physical Efficiency Test(PET)
1) Preliminary Qualifying Test (PQT):- Candidates must qualify in the Preliminary Selection Test of 4Km. run within 20 minutes for Men and 2Km. run within 20 minutes for women.
2) Physical Efficiency Test(PET):- The following are the details of the Physical Efficiency Test. Only candidates who qualify in the Preliminary qualifying Test will be allowed to undergo the Physical Efficiency Test:
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
1. General Knowledge and Secretarial Abilities 150 Questions(General Knowledge 75 + Secretarial Abilities 75) 150 Minutes 150 Marks
Fee: (Remittance of Fee) Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (RUPEES TWO HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee and the applicants have also to pay RS.80/- (RUPEES EIGHTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the following category of candidates is exempted from payment of Examination fee.
a) SC, ST, BC & Ex-Service Men.
b) Unemployed applicants in the age group of 21-34 years have to submit a declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed.
N.B.:- BC’s, SC’s and ST’s belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of Application processing Fee and Examination Fee and they are not entitled to any kind of reservation.
Mode of Payment of Fee:
The Fee mentioned at Para-I(6)(a) is to be paid online through SBI ePay duly following online instructions once the application form details are submitted by filling TSPSC ID, date of birth and other particulars
How to apply:
Before applying for the posts, candidates shall register themselves as per the One Time Registration (OTR) through the Official Website of TSPSC. Those who have registered in OTR already shall apply by login to their profile using their TSPSC ID and Date of Birth as provided in OTR.
