UPSC CDSE 2023, apply for Combined Defence Services Exam at upsc.gov.in

Union Public Service Commission has started the UPSC CDSE 2023 application or registration process today, October 28 . Candidates can fill the application form on the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The last date to apply for the examination is till the deadline.

This recruitment drive will fill up various posts under Combined Defence Service in the country. Candidates can apply for UPSC CDS I 2023 on the application portal of the Commission, upsconline.nic.in. As per the calendar released the IPSC CDS exam would be conducted as per the schedule.

Application fee of Rs.200 is being accepted from General candidates whereas the  SC, ST and women candidates are exempted from application fee. Union Public Service Commission has released UPSC CDS Exam II 2023 notification on August 5 . The notification is available on the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents will be taken up only after the candidate has qualified for interview/Personality Test. Read below for eligibility, selection process, vacancy details, and other information.

UPSC CDS Exam 2023

Eligibility criteria: Educational Qualification: For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai: Candidates should have a degree of a recognised University or equivalent. For Indian Naval Academy: Candidates should have a degree in Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.

For Air Force Academy: Candidates should have a degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. Age Limit: Candidates can check the age limit for each academy on the official notification.

Eligibility criteria for UPSC CDS Exam I

Application Fees: Candidates will have to pay Rs 200/- as application fees. The application fees can be paid either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card. UPSC CDSE Vacancy Details

How to apply for UPSC CDSE 2023? Candidates need to apply Online using the link www.upsconline.nic.in. The filling of the online application contains two parts. In Part I registration, candidates will have to fill basic information. On submission of details, candidates will be prompted to check the details and make corrections, if any, in the application.

Part-II Registration consists of following Stages: filling up Payment details (except for fee exempted candidates), uploading of Photograph, Signature, Photo Identity Card Document, selection of examination centre and Agreeing to Declaration.

Candidate should click on the “I agree” button after he /she finds that information supplied by him /her is in order and no correction is required. Thereafter no correction/modification will be allowed. When the “I agree” button is clicked, a page with Registration Number will be generated.

Note down Registration Number or take a print out of the page. The application is incomplete without payment, uploading of scanned photograph, signature, Photo Identity Card Document, selection of centre and agree to declaration. Official Notification & Apply Online.

  3. A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the necessary details to register for CDS I
  4. Using the same registration ID fill part 2 of the application form
