Visits, Inspections, Monitoring, Observations in TS Schools -2023 by Inspecting Officers, MEOs, School Complex HMs: Telangana School Education Department has given instructions to all the District Education Departmental Officials for Visits, Inspections, Monitoring, Observations of TS Schools for enrollment, retention and quality improvement among School children.

In this connection, Inspecting Officers/MEOs will Inspection/Visits to the TS Schools in a month for effective implementation of activities. HMs of the Schools should fill the information of inspection/visits to Schools by Inspecting Officers in the UDISE form of the School properly and the MEOs have to ascertain whether the HMs are properly recording inspections/visits in UDISE form of the School.

To ensure inspections/visits to the Schools by the Inspecting Officers periodically for effective implementation of activities and proper furnishing the details of Inspections/Visits in UDISE form by the Headmasters of Schools.

All the DEOs EO-DPOs. SS in the State is aware that the following activities are being implemented every year by the School Education Department and under Samagra Shiksha for enrollment, retention and quality improvement among School children.
✦ Enrollment Drive to enrol all the School-age children in Schools.
✦ Providing Uniforms & Free Textbooks to all the children in Schools.
✦ Qualitative Mid-Day Meal for School Children.
✦ Residential Schooling facility for the Girls of deprived sections of society in KGBVs up to Intermediate Level.
✦ Residential Schooling facility for Urban Deprived Children through Urban Residential Schools.
✦ Implementation of Attainment of Basic Competencies – ABC Programme (Moolalloki Veldam) to improve basic competencies among School Children of classes 3rd to 8th.
✦ Focus on Learning Outcomes to prepare the children for NAS 2020.
✦ Preparation of Teachers for TLP.
✦ Conduct of SMC Meetings.
✦ Swachchata/Green Activities.
✦ Providing Composite School Grants and Toilets Maintenance Grant.
✦ Availability & Functional Status of basic facilities in Schools.
✦ Activities such as Special Training, Therapy Services, Home Based Education, Minor Corrective Surgeries etc., under Inclusive Education for CwSN.
✦ Implementation of Aadhar based Bio-Metric Attendance System.

TS Schools | Inspections, Visits in TS Schools

The above activities need to be monitored from time to time during the inspections visits to the Government. Local body and Aided Schools by the Inspecting Officers in an academic year as follows for effective implementation:
❁ i) Academic Inspection of all Schools by the Inspecting Officers not less than 3 times.
❁ ii) Visit all Schools by the School Complex HM at least once in a month.
❁ iii) Visit all Schools by the MEO at least once in a month.

Further. they are informed that the particulars of inspections/visits to the School by the Inspecting Officer during the academic year are to be properly tilled in the UDISE form by the Headmaster of the School while furnishing the information as on 30.09.-2020 and this information is one of the PGI Parameter for the State’s performance to be observed by the Government of India.

Therefore, all the DEOs are requested to issue necessary instructions to the Inspecting Officers to take up Inspection/Visits to the Government, Local body and Aided Schools under their jurisdiction as prescribed in a month for effective implementation of activities. Further, the HMs of the Schools are to be instructed to fill the information of inspection/visits to Schools by Inspecting Officers in the
UDISE form of the School properly and the MEOs have to ascertain whether the HMs are properly recording inspections/visits in UDISE form of the School.

This should be treated as TOP PRIORITY to ensure inspections/visits to the Schools by the Inspecting Officers periodically for effective implementation of activities and proper furnishing the details of Inspections/Visits in UDISE form by the Headmasters of Schools.
