ANGRAU MPC stream Agriculture Degree Admission 2021 – The candidates have to download the application forms accordingly (Form ‘B and Form ‘C’ as may be applicable) and information brochure from the website www.angrau.ac.in. The duly filled in application along with enclosures and online payment receipt should reach REGISTRAR, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Administrative Office, Lam, Guntur -522034, A.P. on or before the deadline.
Candidates must read carefully the information brochure before applying. Candidates, who apply only, will be called for counselling. The seats will be allotted during open manual counselling. The admission notification for various U.G Courses under Bi.P.C.stream in ANGRAU, SVVU & Dr.YSRHU viz., B.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture, B.Tech. For admission into Un-Reserved quota seats of Andhra Pradesh, the candidates of the Telangana State will have to compete for the seats based on the ranks obtained in the AP EAPCET conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State.
Eligibility: A pass in two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely:
i) Mathematics
ii) Physical Sciences
Selection Process: The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the AP EAPCET. The candidates will be selected based on merit, presidential order, region and social status.
Age Limit: The candidates for admission to these courses shall be required to have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.
Registration Fee: A crossed original Demand Draft for Rs. 1200/- (Rs. 600/- in case of SC/ST/PH candidates) towards the registration fee (Non-refundable) drawn on any Nationalized bank in favour of Comptroller, ANGRAU payable at Guntur should be enclosed.
How to apply: The candidates have to download the application forms accordingly (Form ‘B’ and Form ‘C’ as may be applicable) and information brochure from the website www.angrau.ac.in. The duly filled in application along with enclosures and Demand Draft should reach REGISTRAR, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Admn. Camp Office, Vijaya Durga Towers, M.G. Inner Ring Road, Guntur 522 509 A.P. on or before “See below-given date” by 4.00 PM. Candidates must read carefully the Information Brochure before applying. Candidates, who apply only, will be called for counselling. The seats will be allotted during open manual counselling.
Original certificates to be produced at the time of Admission:
The candidates granted admission, should at the time of admission submit the following certificates in Original.
i) Pass Certificate-cum-Memorandum of Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination (Intermediate)
ii) Hall Ticket & Rank Card of AP EAPCET.
iii) SSC or equivalent examination Certificate.
iv) The Community Certificate in the case of candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, signed by the competent authority.
v) Bonafide or Study certificates. (VI to XII)
vi) Residence Certificate, if necessary.
vii) Transfer Certificate from the College or School where the candidate last studied.
Candidates called for counselling shall have to attend at their own cost. Only one parent/ guardian of the candidate will be allowed for counselling. NOTE: The candidates are informed that only 40% of seats under Farmers quota will be filled up by ANGRAU calling for applications through this notification and through open manual counselling later.
Other general seats will be filled up by Convener, AP EAPCET through Web-based counselling conducted for engineering courses. Hence the candidates, who want to compete under general quota may go for options in web-based counseling for engineering courses. For the convenience of the candidates, the farmers’ quota seats will be filled up through open manual counselling after allotment of general seats through web-based counselling by the Convener, AP EAPCET.
