RIMC, Rashtriya Indian Military College has issued Notification for RIMC 8th Class Entrance Exam 2021 for admission to VIII Class in the R.I.M.C. Dehradun for the Term July 2022. The Examination will be held on the notified date at Vijayawada.
The RIMC entrance test for the 8th class admissions in the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun will be held as per the notified date. The application deadline is 30-10-2021.
APPSC RIMC 8th Class Entrance Exam 2021 Notification – Boys and Girls are eligible to apply to the RIMC. At the time of admission to RIMC, the boy should either be studying in Class VII or should have passed Class VII from any recognized School exclusively for the state of Andhra Pradesh consists of 13 Districts only.
They should not be less than 11 1/2 years in age but should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 01/07/2022 i.e., they should not be born earlier than 02/07/2009 and not later than 01/01/2011.

the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin-248003 on submitting Demand Draft of Rs.600/-for General candidates and Rs.555/- for ST/SC candidates along with Caste Certificate and enclosing self-addressed (clearly Typed/Written in capital letters with pin code and contact number) cover size 40 x 30 cm duly affixing postal stamps worth of Rs.120/- (Rupees One Twenty only).
The prospectus and Previous Question Papers: Application form along with prospectus and previous Question Papers can also be had from Assistant Secretary (Exams), AP Public Service Commission, Hyderabad in person on payment of Rs.430/-for General candidates and Rs.385/- for ST/SC candidates along with Caste Certificate in the shape of Demand Draft payable at State Bank of India, Tel Bhavan Branch (Code No. 01576), Dehradun obtained in favour of The Commandant, R.I.M.C., Dehradun.
Candidates desirous of obtaining application form and prospectus by post should enclose a self-addressed cover size 30 x 25 Cm. duly affixing postal stamps worth of Rs.100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) along with Demand Draft and send the requisition.
How to Apply: Filled in application forms along with necessary certificates in duplicate should be sent to the Assistant Secretary (Exams), AP. Public Service Commission, Prathibha Bhavan, Besides Gandhi Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad -500 103. While submitting the application, the following documents should be enclosed along with the application.
1. Two Copies of Original Application obtained from RIMC or from O/o. APPSC., Hyderabad.
2. There are (3) Passport size photos signed by the Candidates (Two (2) Photographs to be paste on the application and one extra.)
3. Two Copies of Birth Certificate from school or Municipal records showing the name of the candidates.
4. Two Copies of a study certificate from the school.
5. Candidates belonging to SC & ST should enclose a Community Certificate issued by TAHSILDHAR.
6. State of Domicile certificate to be enclosed Two (2) Copies.
7. One self-addressed cover affixing postal stamps for Rs.5/- The filled in application form along with requisite certificates should be sent to the ASST. SECRETARY (EXAMS), AP PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, PRATHIBA BHAVAN, M.J. ROAD, BESIDE GANDHI BHAVAN, NAMPALLY, HYDERABAD.
Necessary Documents: Applications in duplicate, alongwith the documents which are to be attached with application form to include two passport size photographs, Domicile Certificate of the candidate, Birth Certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat), SC/ ST Certificate and Certificate from the Principal of the School in original with photograph on it attested stating date of birth and in which Class the student is studying. Application forms should reach the respective State Govts (As given in guidelines to Admission) by 30 September 2020.
Only the candidates finally selected after the viva voce will undergo a Medical examination at selected Military Hospitals and only the candidates found medically fit will be considered for selection and admission to the RIMC. Candidates should not, consider themselves selected until joining instr to this effect is issued and call up notices are sent to them by the college authorities.

Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Inter Service Category ‘A’. The Director General of Military Training is responsible for the management of Army Headquarters. The college was inaugurated on March 13, 1922. Initially it was called the Prince of Wales Royal Indian Military College.
It was located on the premises of the then Imperial Cadet Corps (also known as the Rajwada Camp). Adjacent to the village of Garhi in the Dehradun Cantonment, amidst 138 acres of lush green countryside
It has a long history. Many of those educated here are not just military officers but also politicians, ambassadors and governors. The organization has provided four distinguished personnel, including the Chief of Army Staff and the Naval Chief.
The purpose of this organization is to prepare students for officer-cadre-posts in the military. It runs like a public school. The main goal of the school is to train students to adapt to the rigors of military life and self-discipline.
It is described as the nursery of leadership for organizations such as NDA, OTA and IMA. The institute trains the lion’s share of NDA / NAVAC academies to have students studying here. Boys and Girls between the ages of 11 1/2 to 18 years are selected through a nationally conducted entrance test for admissions at RIMC.
Emphasizes personal discipline rather than holistic education. If any students are not selected for NDA / NAVAC due to unavoidable reasons they will be trained to become officers, lawyers, engineers, journalists and to acquire skills.
Campus Highlights: Mini India caters to about 250 boys from all over the country every year. There are some Tudor style heritage buildings on campus. Some of these are more than a hundred years old.
