What is APTET?

APTET is a state-level examination conducted in two papers – Paper I for candidates who intend to teach classes I to V, and Paper II for candidates who intend to teach classes VI to VIII.

The Department of School Education, Government of AP, invited online applications from eligible candidates who intend to be teachers to appear for the AP Teachers Eligibility Tests.

The APTET Exams were conducted according to the notification schedule. Paper 1 was conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and Paper II was conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM by the Department of School Education.

How to check previous APTET Result?

Andhra Pradesh TET results will be released by the Government of AP, School Education Department on its official website https://aptet.apcfss.in/ after the completion of the evaluation process.

Candidates who appeared in the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test can check details and download the APTET result from the official website. To download the result, candidates can follow the below-given steps.

1. Visit the official Website: Candidates need to visit the official website of the AP Teacher Eligibility Test, https://aptet.apcfss.in/, in their device’s web browser.
2. Click on the Result Link: Once you reach the official website, click on the Result link on the home page. A new web page will then appear on your device.
3. Enter login details: A new page will open. Candidates must enter the hall ticket number and date of birth, along with their mobile number, and click on the login button.
4. Download the Result: After clicking on that link, your AP TET result would be displayed on the screen. Check the result and download it.
5. Print the Result: After checking all the details in APTET Result PDF, download it and take a print for future reference.

APTET 2018 (AP TET 6)

APTET May 2018: (TET 6) The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued the sixth Teacher Eligibility Test (6th TET) in A.P. APTET September 2013 was held from 17.01.2018 to 27.01.2018.

Candidates were applied ‘online’ only through APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between 18.12.2017 and 20.01.2018. APTET May 2018 Results were released on 16.03.2018.

APTET 2017 (AP TET 5)

APTET December 2017: (APTET 5) The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued the fifth Teacher Eligibility Test (5th APTET) in A.P. APTET December 2017 was held from 10.02.2018 to 21.02.2018.

Candidates were applied ‘online’ only through APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between 17.01.2018 and 27.01.2018. December 2017 Results were released on 16.03.2018.

APTET 2013 (TET 4)

APTET September 2013 Result: (TET 4) The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued the third Teacher Eligibility Test (4th TET) in A.P. APTET September 2013 was held on 1^st September 2013.

Candidates were applied ‘online’ only through APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between 16.07.2013 to 01.08.2013. September 2013 Results were released on 20.09.2013.

APTET 2012 (TET 3)

APTET May 2012: (TET 3) The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued the third Teacher Eligibility Test (3rd TET) in A.P. APTET May 2012 was held on May 31, 2012.

Candidates were applied ‘online’ only through APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between March 21, 2012, and April 11, 2012. APTET May 2012 Results were released on June 30, 2012.

APTET 2012 (TET 2)

APTET January 2012: (TET 2) The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued the Second Teacher Eligibility Test (2nd TET) in A.P. APTET January 2012 was held on January 8, 2012.

Candidates were applied ‘online’ only through APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between November 1, 2011, and November 26, 2011. APTET January 2012 Results were released on January 30, 2012.

APTET 2011 (TET 1)

APTET July 2011 Result: (TET 1) – The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued the first Teacher Eligibility Test (1st TET) in AP. APTET July 2011 was held on July 31, 2011.

Candidates were applied ‘online’ only through APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between 20th May 2011 to17th June 2011. APTET July 2011 Results were released on September 04, 2011.

Candidates belonging to the general category shall have to score 60% and above to be declared pass. Similarly, it is 50% and above for BC category candidates and 40% and above for SC/ST/differently abled category candidates.

‘TS-TET Certificate / Marks Memo shall be valid for life time from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.’

Teachers who were appointed before NCTE notification, dated 23.08.2010 on selection by District Selection Committee or by the competent authority in Govt. / Local Authority as per Recruitment rules prevalent at that time was exempted from appearing TET Exam.
