Lalit Narayan Mithila University, LNMU has released Bihar B.Ed CET 2025 or Bihar B.Ed. Entrance Exam 2025 notification on its official website.
There are 14 B.Ed colleges under the University of Bihar in which the admission will be via the B.Ed combined entrance test or CET B.Ed.
Lalit Narayan Mithila University has begun registering for Bihar B.E.D common entrance examination (CET-BED) 2025.
Interested candidates can register online at biharcetbed-lnmu.in. The deadline for the submission of the application form is March 15.

The Lalit Narayan Mithila University is the nodal university responsible for this year’s exam. Interested candidates can apply at the official website bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in.
Those who clear the exam will be eligible to seek admission to BEd courses in college across Bihar. Candidates must obtain at least 35% marks to pass the entrance exam. The minimum qualifying marks for candidates in the reserved category are 30 per cent.
The BEd Entrance Test has 120 objective-type questions each carrying one mark. It consists of General English/Sanskrit, Hindi for 15 marks each, logical and analytical reasoning and teaching-learning environment for 25 marks each, and general awareness for 40 marks.

- Bihar Bachelor of Education (BEd) Combined Entrance Test (CET) notification has been released by Lalit Narayan Mithila University at bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in.
Bihar CET BED Application Fee
Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.1000. The fee is Rs.750 for EWS, women and PwD, EBC, BC candidates. For SC and ST candidates, the fee is Rs.500. It can be paid online via debit card/credit card / net banking.
After clearing Bihar B.Ed CET, a candidate will become eligible to seek admission to BEd courses in various college in Bihar.
Those who clear the exam will have to register for online counselling. To accept the seat in allotted college, candidates will have to pay an admission fee of Rs.4000 and Rs.25,000 for any other university.
Who is eligible to apply?
For admission in the B.Ed courses via Bihar B.Ed CET, candidates must have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Science / Social Science / Humanity / Commerce or the candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks.
How to apply for Bihar B.Ed CET?

- and then click on the button for “Apply for Entrance Test”.
- On doing so, a new page opens.
- Here, candidates must click “Registration for New User Account”.
- Following this, candidates need to enter details such as name, e-mail id, phone number, etc.
- Once the details are submitted correctly, candidates can enter details in the form, upload the images, and pay the application
Syllabus of the exam
The Bihar B.Ed Entrance Test syllabus is prescribed officially. The syllabus for this year is yet to be released, however, last year the syllabus included topics from General English Comprehension, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Teaching-Learning Environment in Schools.
Exam pattern of Bihar CET
Bihar B.Ed CET is a pen-paper-based examination. The candidates must use a blue/black ball pen to mark the answers.
The duration of the test is 2 hours and it will have 120 multiple-choice questions. The maximum number of marks in the exam will be 120. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
Qualifying marks of Bihar BEd CET
To qualify for the entrance test, the unreserved category candidates need 35% marks, and the SC, ST, BC, EBC, WBC, and Divyang candidates need 30% marks to qualify.
Selection of the candidates based on the CET:
After the exam, the Bihar EdCET result will be announced at bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in.
The qualified candidates have to take part in Bihar BEd CET counselling. Admission shall be offered on a merit basis according to B.Ed CET. The candidates shall have to give the choices of the university and a particular institute or college.
Admit Card: Lalit Narayan Mithila University will release the Bihar B.Ed Admit Card after completing the registration process. The admit card is available to all candidates on the official site of Bihar B.Ed CET on bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in.
The exam mode is offline and the question paper consists of multiple-choice questions. A total of 120 questions in total will be asked in the question paper.
The organizing authority would maintain all SOPs while conducting the exams. No applicant is allowed to enter the test center without their Bihar B.Ed CET admit card, valid identity proof, and 2 photographs. Candidates can check more details on Bihar’s official B.Ed site.
