Lalit Narayan Mithila University, LNMU will hold the Bihar B.Ed CET 2022 at state level on May 30. There are 14 B.Ed colleges under the University of Bihar in which the admission will be via the B.Ed combined entrance test or CET B.Ed. Registration for the exam has started and the candidates can only apply online, at bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in.
According to the updated notification, the candidates can register themselves for the entrance examination till June 05. Earlier, the last date to apply online for the examination was May 25. As per the revised schedule, the candidates can also apply for the Bihar B.Ed. CET exam from June 06 to June 08 but they have to pay the late fee charges along with the prescribed application fee.
The candidates after doing their registration can edit their application from June 09 to June 10. The university has fixed June 10 as the last date for making the payment of the application fee. The admit card for the entrance examination will be issued to candidates from July 1st. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on June 15 and now it will be held on July 11.*

Those who clear the exam will be eligible to seek admission to BEd courses in college across Bihar. To pass the entrance exam, candidates need to obtain at least 35 per cent marks. For candidates belonging to the reserved category, the minimum qualifying marks are 30 per cent. The BEd Entrance Test has 120 objective-type questions each carrying one mark. It consists of General English/Sanskrit, Hindi for 15 marks each, logical and analytical reasoning and teaching-learning environment for 25 marks each, and general awareness for 40 marks.
The application process will remain open till March 2. Candidates will also have a widow of editing their application form in case of any error. As per the official notice, the window will be available till March 4. Candidates can pay fee till March 5. The exam will be held on March 29.

Bihar CET BED Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.1000. The fee is Rs.750 for EWS, women and PwD, EBC, BC candidates. For SC, ST candidates the fee is Rs.500. It can be paid online, via debit card/credit card / net banking.
After clearing Bihar B.Ed CET, a candidate will become eligible to seek admission to BEd courses in various college in Bihar. Those who clear the exam will have to register for online counselling. To accept the seat in allotted college, candidates will have to pay an admission fee of Rs.4000 and Rs.25,000 for any other university.

Syllabus of the exam: The Bihar B.Ed Entrance Test syllabus is prescribed officially. The syllabus for this year is yet to be released, however, last year the syllabus included topics from General English Comprehension, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Teaching-Learning Environment in Schools.
Exam pattern of Bihar CET: Bihar B.Ed CET is a pen-paper-based examination. The candidates have to use a blue / black ball pen to mark the answers. The duration of the test is 2 hours and it will have 120 multiple-choice questions. The maximum number of marks in the exam will be 120. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
Qualifying marks of Bihar BEd CET: To qualify for the entrance test, the unreserved category candidates need 35 per cent marks, and the SC, ST, BC, EBC, WBC, and Divyang candidates need 30 per cent marks to qualify.
Selection of the candidates based on the CET: After the exam, the Bihar EdCET result will be announced at bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in. The qualified candidates have to take part in Bihar BEd CET counselling. Admission shall be offered on a merit basis according to B.Ed CET. The candidates shall have to give the choices of the university as well as a particular institute or college.
Admit Card: Lalit Narayan Mithila University will release Bihar B.Ed Admit Card after completion of registration process. The admit card is available to all candidates on the official site of Bihar B.Ed CET on bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in.
The mode of exam is offline and the question paper consists of multiple-choice questions. A total of 120 questions in total will be asked in the question paper. The organizing authority would maintain all SOPs while conducting the exams. No applicant is allowed to enter the test center without their Bihar B.Ed CET admit card, valid identity proof, and 2 photographs.
