ORDER:
In the reference 3rd read above, Government has reiterated the orders issued in the references 1st and 2nd read above to follow the existing caste ratio in-respect of BCs, SCs, STs, and others for admissions into Backward Classes Hostels. Caste wise reservations for TS BC Hostels.
2. In reference 4th and 5th read above, the Commissioner, Backward Classes Welfare, Telangana has furnished a proposal for adopting uniform caste ratio in respect of BCs, SCs, STs and others for admissions into the Backward Classes Hostels, Residential Schools and Study Circles.
3. The government, after careful examination of the matter in detail, decided to revise the existing ratio in respect of BCs, SCs, STs, and others for admissions into the Backward Classes Hostels, Residential Schools and Study Circles. Accordingly, Government hereby order to follow the following ratio for admissions in respect of BCs, SCs, STs, and others into the Backward Classes Hostels, Residential Schools and Study Circles from the Academic Year 2018-19:-
1) Backward Classes 75%
BC-A- 18%}
BC-B – 26%}
BC-C -3%}
BC-D- 18%}
BC-E- 10%}
2) Scheduled Castes 15%
3) Scheduled Tribes 5%
4) Others (EBC, orphans) 5%
Total: 100%
4. The Commissioner, Backward Classes Welfare, Telangana, Hyderabad, the Secretary, MJPTBCWREIS, Hyderabad and the Director, Telangana State Backward Classes Employability Skill Development Centre (BC Study Circles), Hyderabad shall take necessary action accordingly.
