CISF Constable (Tradesmen) Posts Recruitment, Central Industrial Security Force Recruitment, CISF Constable(Tradesmen) Posts Recruitment 2016: The Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) came into existence in 1969 with a small beginning, having three battalions, to provide integrated security cover to the Public Sector Undertakings which, in those years, occupied the commanding heights of the economy.
CISF is no longer a PSU -centric organization. Instead, it has become a premier multi-skilled security agency of the country, mandated to provide security to major critical infrastructure installations of the country in diverse areas. CISF is currently providing security cover to nuclear installations, space establishments, airports, seaports, power plants, sensitive Govt. buildings and ever heritage monuments.
Directorate General Central Industrial Security Force (Ministry of Home Affairs) has issued a notification for recruitment of Constables vacancies in Central Industrial Security Force. The CISF invites applications the from Male Indian citizens for filling up the following temporary posts of Constable(Tradesmen) in the Central Industrial Security Force in the trade of Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Carpenter, Electrician, Motor Pump Attendant, Painter, Sweeper, Washer Man & Water Carrier in the Pay Band–I Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government employees from time to time.
They will be governed under CISF Act and Rules as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the Force and other Acts and Rules applicable from time to time. On appointment they shall be entitled for the pension benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government services with effect from 01-01-2004.

Age limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 years 23 years as on 01-08-2016. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules are given in the Notification.
The candidate should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board or university for skilled trades (i.e. Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Painter and Washer Man). Industrial Training Institute trained personnel will be preferred. The candidate should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board or university for unskilled trades (i.e.Sweeper).
Educational certificate other than State Board /Central Board should be accompanied with Government of India notifications declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric/10th class pass for service under Central Government. For Ex-servicemen: Matric /10th Class pass.
Physical Standards: Candidates height should have 170 cms and chest should have 80-85 cms. physical standards rexation will we applicable as per rules. Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
(i) Eye Sight: Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
(ii) The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, squint in eyes and should have high colour vision. He must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Domicile certificate: The candidates are required to submit their domicile certificate belonging to the any of the States under the Sector where they are applying. West Pakistani Refugee settle in Jammu & Kashmir are exempted to produce domicile certificate, they will produce certificate issued by the village Sarpanch/ Numberdar along with a copy of the electoral roll showing the name of the candidate in the voter list for election of the Parliamentary Constituency.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Eligibility Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test and Medical Examination.
How to Apply:
Application on the prescribed proforma should be sent to the concerned application receiving authorities along with requisite application fees of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the concerned officer and payable at the concerned post office. SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee.
