GATE answer key 2024 released on the official GOAPS website. The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur has released released the answer key of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and released a notification regarding the activation of a link to raise objections on the GATE answer key.
Candidates who have appeared for the IIT GATE examination can check the answer key on gate.iitb.ac.in. Students can also raise objections against the GATE preliminary answer key. They have been given three days from March 2 to March 4 to raise objection with detailed description and proof

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), was conducted in February. The link to raise objection will be available as per the schedule.
Candidates will be charged Rs.500 per objection they raise. The raised objection will be rectified if found correct in the GATE final answer key. The final answer key for GATE exam will be released by March 18. A full refund will be made to the candidates in case their raised objection if found correct.

To raise the objection, candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs.500, per question. After selecting the question, the candidate can pay the fee on the link provided. Remember, no objection without the fee will be entertained.
GATE Answer Key 2024: This is how you can check and raise objection. To view the official notification, candidates are requested to visit the official website i.e. gate.iitb.ac.in. IIT Kharagpur has released the answer keys of GATE. The answer key will be available on the website from February 19 to 21. Candidates will be able to challenge the answer keys from 11 am of February 19 to 6 pm on February 21. GATE Question Paper Pattern: GATE question paper had two sections, General Aptitude (GA) and Candidate’s Selected Subject. The paper was based on two types of question format- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) and/or Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions. GATE 2024 question paper had a total of 65 questions of total 100 marks. In this, GA section was of 15 marks and Subject questions consisted of 85 marks.
GATE Marking scheme: As per the GATE 2024 marking scheme, questions carry 1 mark and 2 marks. For a wrong answer chosen in a MCQ, there will be negative marking. For 1 mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. Likewise, for 2 mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.

Candidates should know that only the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will have a negative marking and marks will be deducted for wrong answers in Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
