Telangana EAMCET is a state-level common entrance test (CET), conducted for selecting candidates for admissions to undergraduate Engineering, Agriculture and Medical courses in the govt and private colleges located across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Students who are wishing to pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture and veterinary courses, etc., in colleges in the State can apply for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H), which is organizing the TS EAMCET, has released the notification for the entrance test.

This year, the TSCHE and the JNT university had announced that the syllabus for the TS EAMCET would be reduced. 70% of the intermediate second year syllabus and 100 % of the intermediate first year syllabus of TS BIE will be considered for the entrance test. The syllabus was reduced as the BIE had cut the syllabus by 30% for the academic year 2020-21 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The entire first-year intermediate syllabus will be covered for the entrance test as students had attended physical classes during the academic year 2019-20.

Like last year, the entrance test will comprise 160 questions. However, this time, the university has decided to give 55% weightage of the first year and 45% weightage of the second year intermediate syllabus of TS BIE for the entrance test. Out of 160 questions, 55% of questions will be from the intermediate first year and 45% from the second-year intermediate syllabus. Earlier, 50% weightage was equally given to the first and second intermediate syllabus in the entrance test.

The Telangana State Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) will be conducted from July 5 to 9. While the exam for the engineering stream candidates will be held from July 7 to 9, for agriculture and pharmacy (AM) stream exam will be held from July 5 to 6.

The computer-based test will be conducted in a total of 54 centres across 18 test zones. The registration fee for the engineering or AM stream is Rs.400 for SC/ST candidates and for others, it is Rs 800. For candidates wishing to appear for both Engineering and AM stream, the fee will be Rs 1600 (for other categories).

TS EAMCET Application fee (Registration Fee: For general category, it is Rs.400, for SC/ST category candidates and Rs.800 for all other candidates. In case, a candidate wants to apply for both the groups, they will have to pay Rs.800 for SC/ST categories and Rs.1600 for all other categories.

TS EAMCET Exam schedule:

The morning schedule begins from 10 am to 1 pm and the afternoon exams are scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Important Instructions for filling online application: Do not rely solely on Internet center administrators and college staff to fill out and submit EAMCET applications online. In case of erroneous applications, the details in the application should be verified once or twice and submitted without any mistakes.

What are the mistakes students make during application? Many students are sending applications depending on the staff of the colleges they attend and the administrators of the internet centers.   1. Visit the eamcet.tsche.ac.in Website

    On your Internet Browser type the website address https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in, press Enter button and you will see the website displayed on the computer screen.

  2. Click on the Application Fee Payment Button

    Once you reach the official website of EAMCET, click on the Application Fee Payment button as shown in the home page. After clicking on it, a new Payment Verification web page will appear on the screen.

  3. Click on Proceed Button

    Fill in all the mandatory details in the respective fields of the EAMCET Fee Payment form and Click on the Proceed to Payment button. After clicking on it, the Payment web page will appear.

  4. Click on Make a Payment

    After filling the mandatory details the control will lead you to the Bank Payment Gateway web page and click on EAMCET Make Payment button. The confirmation of successful payment of Registration Fee is shown with the Transaction is successful item to be shown in the web page Payment Status along with Payment Reference Id. After Successful Payment web page automatically redirect to web page.

  5. Click on Know Your Payment Status Button

    After completion of Fee Payment for EAMCET, Candidate can check the Status of the Payment using By clicking on Check Your Payment Status tab. In this, Enter Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket Number, Mobile Number then click on Check Payment Status button to check the status of the payment.

  6. Click on Proceed to Fill Application button

    After successful fee payment, candidate has two options either to proceed to fill in the application immediately or at a later date. Click on Proceed to Fill Application button to fill the application immediately and you will be taken to the Application Form. So, Enter all the mandatory details and click on Proceed to Fill Application button.

  7. Enter all Details in Application Form

    By Clicking on Proceed to Fill Application button, the application form will be displayed. Enter all the mandatory details in respective fields and click on Preview/Submit button. Then, candidate can view the Filled Online Application Form. If you want to modify, click on Modify button to modify the application or If you want confirm, click on Confirm button to confirm the application.

  8. Click on Confirm/Freeze button

    By clicking on Confirm/Freeze button, candidate can view pop up alert as Your Application confirmed successfully. Please note your Registration Number for further Correspondence.

  9. Click on Print Application Button

    By Clicking on Print Application, candidate can view the Receipt of the Application form in your screen. Click on Print button for taking the printout of the receipt which is useful for further correspondence. Later, if the candidate wishes to take the print out of the application form again, he/she can visit https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in and click on Print Your Filled in Application Form. Then, enter all the mandatory details in respective fields and click on Get Application Details, the Receipt web page will appear. Click on Print button for taking the printout of the receipt.

TS EAMCET application process to be started.
