HP Board of School Education commenced the online application process for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test June 2021 or HP TET 2021 on its official website. Candidates who would like to apply for HP TET June 2021 can visit the Board’s portal hpbose.org to submit the application form.
The last date to submit application forms for HP TET in June 2021 is June 13. However, candidates can apply for HP TET 2021 till June 18 with a late fee of Rs 300. Online correction in particulars will be allowed between June 19 to 21.
HP TET Eligibility: The basic HP TET eligibility criteria that candidates must fulfill are: Candidates should complete graduation with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks. Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in teacher training.
Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for the TET. The age criteria are to be considered by the appointing authority at the time of appointment as per R&P Rules.
Application Fee: General and their sub-category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs.800 while OBC/ST/SC/Physically handicapped candidates need to pay Rs 500. It should be noted that service charges and service tax if applicable will be charged extra by the bank.

Validity: The TET qualifying certificate would remain valid for an appointment for 7 years from the date of declaration of result. There will be no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a TET certificate. A person who has qualified TET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
Applicability: TET shall apply to a school of the H.P./State Government/local authority referred to sub clause(i) of clause(n) of section-2 of the RTE Act and a school referred to in sub-clause (ii) of clause(n) of section -2 of the RTE Act in the State. A school referred to in sub-clause(iv) of clause(n) of section-2 of the RTE Act may exercise the option of considering either the TET conducted by the State Government or the TET conducted by the Central Government.
HP TET Exam Details: HP TET examination will comprise of 150 marks for all papers. The examination would be in pen and paper mode. Questions asked in the exam will be objective type of MCQ format.

Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, HP TET is a state-level exam conducted by Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala.
The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in the schools of Himachal Pradesh for the following categories/ subjects:

HP TET Exam Pattern: Refer to the examination pattern for HP TET exam provided below. Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is an offline exam. Thus, candidates have to mark answers in the OMR sheet, with black or blue ball point pen. Since answers have to be marked using pen, they cannot change answers once marked.
All questions are in multiple-choice questions with a single correct answer. Candidates have to attempt 150 questions in 150 minutes. Each question is of 1 mark. There is no negative marking. Question papers are bilingual that is in English as well as Hindi. Question papers for Shastri are partly in Sanskrit and partly in Hindi. Punjabi / Urdu LT papers are in Punjabi / Urdu / English only.

- HP TET result: Once the exam is over, HPBOSE declares HP TET result on its official website. Candidates clearing the written exam are then issued HP TET certificates based on which they can apply for the job of teacher in the schools of Himachal Pradesh
