Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS Schools) are boon to the Rural Students: “Residential Schools” We can expect more result than day scholars because students get more time to read (study hours) total weather will be different, competitive levels will be more. In these schools again there are different schools like APRJC, APRS, Navodaya, etc.
Navodaya Vidyalayas: The Navodaya Vidyalaya System is a unique experiment unparalleled in the annals of school education in India and elsewhere. Its significance lies in the selection of talented rural children as the target group and the attempt to provide them with quality education comparable to the best in a residential school system. Such children are found in all sections of society, and in all areas including the most backward.
1. To provide good quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from the rural areas, without regard to their family’s socio-economic condition.
2. To ensure that all students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas attain a reasonable level of competence in three languages as envisaged in the Three Language Formula.
3. To serve, in each district, as focal points for improvements in quality of school education in general through sharing of experiences and facilities.
Here we have to discourse especially about Navodaya because these schools function under the central govt syllabus is a central syllabus like CBSE system. Really these schools are boon to the rural/poor students. Where here the student’s achievements are like corporate colleges.
These schools are functioning for each district all over the country. Achieving seat in VI class in these institutions is very tough after once you enter in this school you can continue your study up to XII standard.
Central govt tied up with Dakshana Foundation to train up/coach their selected children and which helps the children to achieve in the JEE advance test. This year’s results increased by these students. In the Hyderabad region, this number is increasing.
