School Medical Officer:
Essential Qualification: MBBS Degree. Desirable: Two years of clinical experience.
Art Master:
Essential: Either of the (a), (b) & (c) (a) Master’s degree in Fine Art (with Painting Specialization). (OR) (b) Graduate with Fine Art/Art/Drawing and Painting as one of the subjects with minimum 4 years Diploma from a recognized Institute/University. (OR) (c) Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Sr. Sec School Certificate Examination with minimum 5 years (full time)/7 years part time diploma in Fine Art/Painting/Drawing and Painting from a recognized Institute / University
Desirable: (a) Teaching experience in public schools as art teacher. (b) Experience in photography and related software tools. (c) Ability to teach in English medium. (d) Proficiency in games and co-curricular activities
PET:
Essential: Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports with at least 55% marks as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2009. (OR) At least 50% marks in the B.P.Ed. degree/B.P.Ed. degree/B.P.Ed. (Integrated) 4 years professional degree in accordance with the and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007. (OR) B.P.Ed. with at least 55% marks or B.P.E. Counsellor:
Essential: MA (Psychology)/ MSc (Psychology)/ Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology/ MA in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university. (OR) Masters in Child Development/ Social Work with 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Guidance from a recognized institute or University.
Desirable: i) One year experience in providing counselling. ii) Persons with adequate training in Psychotherapy, Psychometric assessment and experience of working in residential schools iii) Add-on courses/training in areas like cognitive behaviour therapy skills, Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder (ADHD), behavioural issues and learning difficulties, building emotional intelligence and resilience, Adolescence Education from recognized institutes.iv) Knowledge of local language v) Basic Knowledge of computer operation
Band Master:
Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi (OR) Equivalent Naval/Air Force Courses
Craft Teacher:
Essential : (i) Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Two years trade certificate in crafts from a recognized Industrial Training Center (iii) Ability to teach through English Medium.
Desirable: Teaching experience in public schools and proficiency in Games as well as in Co-curricular Activities.
Quartermaster:
Essential : (i) B.A./B.Com (ii) At least 5 years of experience as UDC (Stores) or as Quartermaster or an ex-serviceman preferably a JCO with at least 10 years of experience in handling and accounting of stores.
Desirable : (a) Should have undergone a Quartermaster’s Course (b) High proficiency of Computer Office applications and the ability to work in a network-enabled office environment. (c) Degree/diploma in fire-fighting, Security and motor vehicle maintenance. (d) JCO from Ordnance Corps preferable.
Matron Female only:
Essential: (i) Should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination and should be able to converse fluently in English, Hindi & Telugu. (ii) Should take care of cadets like a foster mother and discharge other duties & responsibilities as per the guidelines of the school.
Desirable: (i) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com degree (ii) Attainments in sports/Art/Music (iii) Experience of handling children in residential schools/hostels (iii) Adequate proficiency of working in a computer network office environment. (v) Preference to be given to those who possess Degree/Diploma in Home Science or having done dietitian’s course and have basic medical knowledge including first aid
Ward Boys:
Essential: i) Should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination. ii) Should be able to converse in English/Hindi/Telugu. iii) Should be willing to carry out all works related to cadets’ wellbeing & hostel maintenance.
Desirable: i) Candidates with experience of working as Wardboy/Hostel Warden in any Residential Public School will be given top preference. ii) Candidates with Higher Qualifications will be given top preference. iii) Candidates with proficiency in games as well as in co-curricular activities will be given preference.
General Employees (Ayah):
Essential: i) Should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with minimum 40% marks in aggregate. ii) Should be able to converse in English/Hindi/Telugu. iii) Should be willing to carry out all types of general works including cleaning, Housekeeping etc.,
Desirable: i) Candidates with experience of working in any girls Residential Public School will be given top preference. ii) Candidates with proficiency in games as well as in co-curricular activities will be given preference.

How To Apply for Kalikiri Sainik School Teaching & Non-Teaching Posts Recruitment
(1) Eligible and interested candidates may apply in the application format available at the School Office from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs on all working days or the same can be downloaded from the school website at www.kalikirisainikschool.com
(2) Recent Passport size photograph of the candidate is to be affixed at the space provided.
(3) A self-addressed envelope duly affixing postal stamps worth Rs. 30/- to be submitted with the application.
(4) Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- for General Category and Rs.250/- for SC/ST Category as application fee (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of the Principal, Sainik School Kalikiri payable at State Bank of India, Kalikiri Branch (Code: 016427) also to be forwarded with the application. The fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor would this fee be held in reserve for future examination/selection.
(5) Filled in application form along with self-attested copies of certificates are to be forwarded to “The Principal, Sainik School Kalikiri, Chittoor Dist, Andhra Pradesh PIN: 517 234. Super-scribe the envelope with the name of the post applied for.
Instructions:
(1) Shortlisted candidates will only be called for written test, Practical Test and interview after scrutiny, based on the essential qualifications specified in the table above and experience. Certificates must be enclosed with the application in support of their qualification and experience. Otherwise the same will not be considered at the time of scrutiny of applications.
(2) No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the selection tests. The appointment is only on Contractual/ Temporary basis and in no case the selected candidates will be eligible to become permanent in future.
(3) Applicants with higher qualifications and experience, proficiency in sports/games, NCC, etc., will be given added credits during the short-listing process and selection process/interview. Indian Nationals only to apply.
(4) Applicants are to clearly mention their email ID and mobile number in the application form to enable the school to communicate the date/schedule of selection test at short notice. Information pertaining to selection will also be updated on school website.
(5) Candidates are to bring the certificates/documents in original (in support of their qualifications/experience as mentioned in the application) while reporting for selection test, failing which their candidature will not be entertained.
