The medium of question paper for the KARTET 2024 Exam are Kannada, Hindi, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telegu, and Marathi.

KARTET 2024 exam comprises two papers: Paper I and Paper-II. Examination for Paper I is conducted for those who want to teach from classes 1 to 5. Those who want to teach from classes VI to VIII, appear for KARTET 2024 paper II examinations. 

The candidates can download the KARTET admit card on online through the official website, sts.karnataka.gov.in/ – by entering their login using their application ID and date of birth.

The admission card contains the details of the candidate as filled in the online application. In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the admission card and downloaded final online application, there is no provision for correction.

Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V and Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

If a person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear for both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Qualifying marks and award of KARTET Certificate: The candidates belonging to General should secure a minimum of 60 per cent to be eligible.

The candidates belonging to SC/ ST, differently abled persons should secure a minimum 55 per cent to be eligible.

The candidates who appear for KARTET and obtain the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed will be issued an Electronic Marks Statement.

The Centralized Admission Cell will not issue any printed hard copy of the marks sheet. Candidates should enter their Register number and date of birth as given in their online application to download the Electronic Marks Card.

Validity period of KARTET Certificate: The validity period of the KARTET Qualifying certificate will be a lifetime.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a KARTET Certificate. A person who has qualified for KARTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

School Education Department, Karnataka State will release KARTET Admit Card. Candidates can download the admit card through the official site of Karnataka TET at schooleducation.kar.nic.in. The Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted at various centres across the state.

Paper I of the KARTET 2024 Exam is conducted for two and a half hours. It is MCQ-based and conducted for 150 marks. It consists of subjects such as Language, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and others.
