Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan released the Kerala TET exam notification and announced KTET application dates. Now, Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test, KTET registration 2023 has begun on its web portal, ktet.kerala.gov.in. Candidates who want to appear for Kerala TET examination can check details and apply on the official website.
Candidates who want to become teachers in Upper Primary, Lower Primary, and High School of Kerala can apply online before the last date. Candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 and in case of reserved candidates including SC/ST, Physically Handicapped the application fee is Rs 250.
KTET 2023 exam will be of 2.5 hours duration and there will be 150 questions on the KTET 2023 question paper. Questions will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) format and there will be 3 parts of the exam, Part I, Part II and Part III. The total mark for the exam is 150.

Last date to apply for the KTET 2023 exam is November 11 and application print out can be taken out till November 11. KTET is conducted for categories 1, 2, 3 and 4. Category 1 covers classes 1 to 5, classes 6 to 8 are covered by category 2, category 3 covers classes 8 to 10 and category 4 is for language teachers – Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, Hindi (up to upper primary level). Specialist teachers and physical education teachers are also covered by category 4.
Application Fees: The application fees to apply for Kerala TET is ₹500/- if belonging to General/OBC category and ₹250/- if belonging to SC/ST category. The payment should be made through Net Banking, Credit/ Debit card.
Steps to complete the Kerala TET Registration 2023

Candidates need to visit the official website of Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test, ktet.kerala.gov.in in your device browser.
- Click on New Registration Link
Once you reach the KTET Official website, click on the new registration link on the homepage. A new page continuing application form instructions would open, read and check the instruction and proceed further.
- Generate Login Details
After clicking on the link, KTET Registration window will open up. Key in the asked details and generate your login details.
- Login the web Page
After complete the registration process, login using your credentials. KTET registration form will be displayed on the screen
- Fill the Registration Form
After login the page, fill in the form with asked details and upload the scanned documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the Application Fee
After filled in the application form, Pay the application fee and submit the form.
- Download the Application Form
After successfully submission of application form, download and take a print out for further need.
Required documents KTET Registration:
Candidates would also be required to present a set of documents in the prescribed format while filling the application from. Some for the documents and details would include:
- Applicant’s name
- Date of birth
- Address
- ID proof
- Educational certificates
- Photograph, signature
As per the Kerala TET website, photograph should be shared in jpeg / jpg format ,150 X 200 pixel and size between 20 Kb to 30 Kb having name and date of photo taken printed at the bottom.
