School Education Department, Madhya Pradesh announced the merit list of National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship exams. The NMMS is a centrally sponsored scheme of union government programme which is meant to provide financial support to the students of Class 8 in grant-in-aid schools or government schools coming from financially weak backgrounds so that they can complete their education till Class 12.
The students who have made it to the merit list will have to open bank accounts in which the scholarship amount will be deposited. The scholarship will begin from Class 9.
