NIOS National Open School Result 2021 or NIOS Result 2021 of Class 10, Class 12 Exams would be released every after completion examination by the National Institute of Open School. Candidates who have appeared the 10th class and 12th class examinations can check details and download the results from the official web link using their login details.

In 2020, due to covid-19 the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has announced that the public exams or board exams for (NIOS) stand cancelled. The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has declared the Senior Secondary or NIOS Class 12 Result 2020 on their official website today i.e. August 5. The candidates who appeared for the examinations this year can now check their results on the official website of NIOS i.e.

Earlier, NIOS had confirmed the date and time of the result as August 5 at 5 pm. The result was released prior to the official time notified by the institute, at 4:35 precisely. All the candidates who appeared for the examination this year can check their results via the official website of NIOS. Since a lot of candidates are checking their results, the website might crash. Students who can’t access the official website can also check the result via SMS.

“Keeping in view the health of the learners, NIOS public exams scheduled to be held in July 2020 now stand cancelled. The results will be declared based on the assessment scheme finalized by the competent committee,” the Ministry tweeted through its official twitter handle.

In case a student is not satisfied with their assessment, they will have an option to appear in the next public or on-demand exam. The dates of these exams are not yet decided. NIOS, in an official statement, said that these exams will be held when the situation is “conducive”. However, no improvement exams will be held after these papers. The decision has been taken due to the increasing coronavirus cases in India.

Average marks obtained in best three performed subjects for which exams have been conducted in the past exams will be awarded in the place of those exams which could not take place. This, however, is a one-time measure. NIOS also said that the result will be declared soon “to enable vertical mobility of learners.”

For students who have passed in three subjects, the average score will be calculated based on best of two and for those who have past performance in one or two subjects, their theory performance will be calculated based on average performance in theory of last three public examinations.

For those who were to appear for the first time and their tutor-marked assignments (TMA) or practical marks are available, their performance will be calculated based on the available TMA or practical marks, however, the TMA and practical marks secured by the student will be reflected along with theory marks in mark sheet, as per the official notice.

The NIOS class 10, 12 board exams were scheduled to be held from March 24, however, they were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and were rescheduled to be held from July 17. Now the exams stand cancelled. Earlier, CBSE and CISCE have also cancelled their pending exams.

  • Click on the Result link page
  • Click on the link that says: NIOS October Class 10 Results or NIOS October Class 12 Results
  • A new page will appear on your screen, a candidate login page
  • Enter your 12-digit Enrollment Number and other details required there
  • Hit the “Submit” button
  • Your result page will appear on the screen, download it
  • Take printout for further reference

National Institute of Open Schooling, NIOS would declare the NIOS 10th Result and NIOS 12th Result. Candidates enrolled in the open school examination can now log on to to check their NIOS Result. The NIOS Board examination for Class 10 and Class 12 Examinations were conducted as per its schedule.

Re-evaluation fee is Rs 800 per subject and is to be submitted through online mode. Re-Evaluation of answer sheets is only available for Senior Secondary Examination only and not Secondary Examination i.e. Class 10.
