NIOS Admission 2021 notification has been released by the National Institute Open Schooling on its web portal www.nios.ac.in for National Open School Secondary, Senior Secondary Courses (Class 10 and Intermediate Admission). NIOS 10th class Inter Admissions, NIOS has introduced 100% On-line admission at the Secondary and the Senior Secondary level in order to facilitate learners to register.
National Institute of Open Schooling, NIOS Registration 2021 for class 10, and 12 October batch is being extended to March 31, 2021. Students can apply for admission to class 10 and 12 on the official site of NIOS, sdmis.nios.ac.in. NIOS announces this today, March 25, 2021 through their twitter handle. The r NIOS Registration 2021 link will stay active till the midnight of March 31, 2021.
Students must select their state or union territories in order to complete the NIOS Registration 2021 for class 10 and 12 courses. Students are advised to read the instruction mentioned on the official website before proceeding for the NIOS Registration 2021. Students are advised to keep their documents handy while completing the NIOS Registration 2021 for class 10, 12. Keep a check on the official site for more updates.
Under this scheme, the learner has three options: (i) He/she can register on-line directly by visiting the website of NIOS i.e., www.nios.ac.in. (ii) He/she may visit his/her nearest AI (Study Centre)/Facilitation Centre and take help for on-line registration. (iii) He/she may visit the concerned Regional Centre of NIOS and take help for online registration. (iv) He/she can use the services of the Common Services Centers of the Govt. of India for Online registration throughout the Country.
Eligibility Criteria for NIOS Admission 2021: (a) Secondary: The minimum age to take admission in the Secondary Course is 14 years as on 31st July 2018 (born on or before 31.07.2004). A learner who has passed class VIII and has valid proof of attaining 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.
A learner giving a self-certificate “I have studied enough to be able to pursue secondary course” is also eligible for admission to the Secondary Course. A learner who had studied at the secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance.
(b) Sr. Secondary: The minimum age to take admission in the Senior Secondary Course is 15 years. As on 31st July 2018 (born on or before 31.07.2003). In order to take admission in the Senior Secondary course, the learner must have passed the Secondary course from a recognized Board. Date of Examination in which the students can appear the first time – April/May 2019
Steps to complete NIOS Registration 2021 for class 10, 12:
- Visit the website of National Institute of Open Schooling.
- Select your state or Union Territory, ID number, course and then click on submit.
- Once logged in, enter basic details and upload important required documents.
- Select the subjects and choose the exam centers.
- Make the payment online and then click on submit.
Last Date: Last Date for Admission in Stream at http://sdmis.nios.ac.in/ is 31-03-2021.
Important Instructions: 1. There is no Agencies/Cyber cafe/any other institutions recognised by NIOS for Doing Online Admission. 2. You can take Admission yourself on the Internet without involving any middle man and without paying any extra amount to such a middle man. You can take up the help of your friends or family members in filling the online application form. You may visit your nearest Accredited Institution (AI) (Study Centre)/ CSC (Common Service Centre)/Facilitation centre or NIOS Regional Centre for Online Registration.
3. The Study Material will be delivered to you at your address provided by you during the Registration free of cost. Do not accept any VPP Parcel from anybody.
