If you are preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination and are worried about the cost of coaching, there’s good news. The Assam government has introduced a new initiative called the Pratibha Protsahan Yojana.
This scheme aims to provide financial support and high-quality coaching to deserving Assam candidates who aspire to a career in civil services.
The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Pavan Chintan Dhara Ashram and the Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan, who are dedicated to nurturing talent.
Candidates can apply online via the Gappy Assam portal: https://gappy.assam.gov.in/ between September and October.
A screening test will be conducted in October to assess their eligibility, and the results will be announced in October.
The coaching program will officially start in November. It will offer structured training and expert guidance to help participants prepare effectively for the UPSC examination.
Under this initiative, 500 candidates will receive online coaching. At the same time, ten exceptionally talented individuals will be selected for in-person coaching in the Delhi-NCR region, fully sponsored by the Pavan Chintan Dhara Ashram.
Additionally, two standout candidates will receive one-on-one mentorship from the Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan and support from Raj Bhavan.
The selection process for this scheme will be carried out through the All Assam Talent Search Examination. The screening test will select 5,000 candidates from Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, and Bongaigaon in Assam.
The scholarship will cover the costs of coaching, accommodation, and meals, while the candidates will be responsible for their expenses.
Raj Bhavan will resolve any disputes. For more details, candidates can contact the official email at pratibhaprotsahanyojana@gmail.com.
