How to Apply for RBI Assistant Posts 2023 . The Reserve Bank of India has given Assistant posts recruitment notification and the RBI invites applications from eligible candidates for 926 posts of “Assistant” in various offices of the Bank.

What does an assistant post-career in the bank look like?
Those who joined the RBI as an assistant would initially get Rs. 36,000 will be paid. The main function of the assistants is to monitor the transactions of the bank and perform the relevant functions. Promotions are usually given through examinations at RBI. In this way, officer grade-A and officer-grade B can be reached.
Language Proficiency Test:
This is just a qualifying test.

Educational Qualification:
a) Bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC. b) Candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognised University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service. c) Candidates applying for the post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.
Age limit:
Applicants Must have age limit between 18 Years to 28 Years of Age. Those who are above 28 Years of Age are not eligible.
Pay Scale:
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.8,860/- per month (i.e. Rs.8,040/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of Rs.8,040 – 410 – 9270 – 500 – 11,270 – 550 – 13,470 – 650 – 15,420 – 720 – 16,140 – 990 – 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances, viz. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately Rs.22,546/-
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges:
Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXS. (Intimation Charges)
Rs. 450 /- for OBC/General candidates (Examination fee+ Intimation Charges)
Staff candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee and intimation charges. Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

How to Apply for RBI Assistant :
- Visit the official site of RBI at rbi.gov.in.
- Click on opportunities section and then on the current vacancies link.
- A new page will open where candidates can click on the RBI Assistant link available.
- Enter the registration number and password or create a new ID and fill up the application form.
- After filling up the application form, candidates will have to make the payment of fees.
- Once done, keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
The online preliminary examination would be conducted on February 14 & 15 at various centres across the country.
