This RBI Grade B Notification 2024 for recruitment of officer posts in General (DR), Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR), and Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM).

Eligibilty Criteria
Grade B Officer (DR) General: For the post of Grade B (DR) officer, candidates must have passed their graduation with 60 percent marks or post-graduation with a minimum 55 per \cent marks.
Grade B Officer (DR) DEPR: For the post of Grade B Officer (DR) DEPR, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Economics/Finance with at least 55 percent marks.
Grade B Officer (DR) DSIM: For the post of Grade B Officer (DR) DSIM, candidates should have a Master’s degree with 55 percent marks in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics and Informatics or its equivalent subject.
In terms of age criteria for RBI Grade B recruitment, the candidate should be between 21 and 30 years old. Those who belong to the reserved category will get some relaxation at the minimum age.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the advertised posts will be done on the basis of online examination which will be conducted in two phases and interview.
The whole RBI Grade B Selection Process has been divided into three phases. The phases are listed below.
- Phase I: Online Mode, 120 Minutes, Negative Marking of 1/4 Mark on each wrong answer, Maximum attempts: 6 for the UR Category
- Phase II: Paper 1 (Economic and Social Issues), Paper 2 (English), and Paper 3 (Finance and Management)
- Interview: 75 Marks, Psychometric test before interview.
