SSC Stenographer Posts Admit Cards 2023, Exam will start from 8th November: Staff Selection Commission was released SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2023 notification on September 17.
As per the official calendar released by the Commission, the official notification has been placed on the official site of SSC at ssc.nic.in from September 17 onwards. The last date to register for the examination was October 15.
SSC Stenographer Admit Cards 2023 download:
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) would release admit card for its stenographer group C and D skill test soon. The exam will be conducted on November 8. SSC generally releases the admit card around a week before the test is scheduled. So, candidates can download their admit cards from ssc website. The candidates who had qualified the written exam will have to appear for the Skill Test in Stenography. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/ Hindi at the speed of 100 word per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer.
All the candidates qualified for Document Verification are required to come for Document Verification. Those who fail to do so will not be considered for any post at the time of final selection. Candidates will have to submit copies of various documents like Matriculation Certificate, educational qualification, caste certificate, relevant document, if any relaxation is taken, etc.

SSC Stenographer Posts Recruitment 2023:
Staff Selection Commission released SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2023 notification on September 20. The application process was completed from September 20 to October 15. The vacancies of SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2023 will be determined in due course. The vacancies of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ are divided into Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations of Central Government that includes their attached and subordinate offices located in various states and union territories all over the country.
Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2023:
To apply for the exam, candidates should have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. The age limit for Steno Grade C is 18 to 30 years of age and for Steno Grade D is 18 to 27 years of age.
Selection Process for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2023:
The Commission has will also release the vacancy details and exam dates on the official notification. The selection process comprises of Computer Based Exam followed by skill test. Skill Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. The candidates who qualify the Skill Test will be considered for final selection on basis of their merit in the Computer Based Examination.
Final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination and the preference of Posts/ Departments exercised by them at the time of Document Verification.
Candidates willing to apply for the exam will have to pay Rs 100 as application fees. Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card. Exam Pattern for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2023:
The examination will be a computer-based test and the examination will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice. Questions will be set in Hindi and English except for Part-III. The question paper will have three parts- Part I will have General Intelligence and Reasoning, Part II will have General Awareness and Part III includes English Language and Comprehension.
The examination will be for 2 hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit.
