Tamil Nadu 12th Class Result 2023, Evaluation criteria released for result announcement

Tamil Nadu 12th Class result 2023 or TN HSE Result 2023 would be released by the DGE Tamil Nadu on its web portal, http://www.dge.tn.gov.in/. Students who have applied for the class 12 board examinations can check result from the official website. The directorate of government examinations would upload the results of Tamil Nadu HSE as per the schedule.

Tamil Nadu has released the TN Class 12 Result Date. The TNDGE 12t result is expected to release in the month of June. The result will be declared at 11 am. Tamil Nadu Government has announced the Class 12 Evaluation Criteria, which is based on a 50:20:30 formulae. Tamil Nadu has announced evaluation criteria to compute the marks for Class XII students following the cancellation of board exams. The exams were cancelled due to the second wave of Covid-19. The Class X board exams would carry 50% weightage while Class XI marks would carry 20% weightage and Class XII internal assessment and practical exams would carry 30% weightage.

The TN govt has announced that the state board would give an opportunity for students who are aggrieved with the marks to write the exam and the scores in the written test would be considered as final marks. The board would also conduct a separate exam for private candidates after Covid-19 cases subside. The average of the best of three marks in Class X board exam would be taken for giving weightage.

The state board schools had completed the practical exams for Class XII students before April. The Class XII practical exam marks (20 marks) and internal assessment (10 marks ) will be calculated for 30 marks. If the subject doesn’t have practical exams, then the internal assessment marks will be converted into 30 marks.

Further, if the students could not take part in Class XII practical exams due to Covid-19, their Class XI marks will be used for tabulation. If students could not attend both Class XI and XII practical exams, their practical marks would be calculated based on Class X theory exam marks.

  • Provisional Marksheet: While the printout of the online marks will be the provisional mark sheet. It will only be valid for 90 days. Students need to get the official mark sheet in the meantime

The CBSE criteria give 40% weightage to unit tests, mid-term tests and pre-board exams conducted in Class XII.
