Teachers Performance Indicators and Entitlement Points: 17 Items Teachers Performance Indicators and Entitlement Points for AP Teachers Transfers: Performance indicators have been prepared by the AP Education Department on the basis of 17 items for giving point to teachers for participating in teacher transfers.

After justification of performance indicators of Teachers, entitlement points to be awarded by the officials and performance indicators to be certified by the School level and Mandal Level officials. Below performance indicators should be Certified by the HM and Countersigned by MEO/Dy.E.O.

“Performance Indicators” An Employee will work hard when he/she is encouraged by appreciation, promotion, etc. When there is stagnance in working there will be no development, in the graph of their service. For some days employees will lose anxiety, enthusiasm in working. The service will continue plain without any upward movement. Where here employees will not found any interest in their work. So, he/she can not give 100% output which is very important for teachers, where creativity, innovation plays a prominent role.

So, after wide thinking A.P Govt is going to introduce a new system i.e., giving marks for their work. Work is measured by marks. So officials of the educational department have been given 25% marks for their work in the total entitlement points. These marks will be given based on the 17 items(performance indicate) and a maximum of 25 marks will be entitled.

This will be finalised after the discussions with all unions by marking 1 or 2 changes suggested unions

Teachers Performance Indicators and Entitlement Points

1. Enrolment:
100% enrolment in the Government schools basing on child population within the catchment area – 2 Points

2. Children  Attendance:
Attendance of children in a school by average year wise
a. 95% above – 2 Points
b. 90% – 95% – 1 Points

3. Transition of children
100% Transition of children within their school or catchment area Govt. Schools (5th to 6th class, 7th to 8th class and 8th to 9th class) – 5 Points

4. Mid day Meal:
No adverse remarks on Mid day Meal scheme in a year – 1 Point

5. Clean and Green:
Schools premises with clean environment and maintain plantation etc. – 1 Point

6. Aadhaar seeding:
Aadhaar seeding DISE Vs Childinfo
a. 100% Aadhaar seeding  – 2 Points
b. 90-99% Aadhaar seeding – 1 Pont

7.  DISE and Child info data difference:
Percent of difference between DISE and Child info data for the school
a. Less than 1% difference – 3 Points
b. 2-5 % difference – 2 points

8. Teacher attendance:
Teacher attendance in the institution at present cadre except Casual Leave
a. 95% attendance of total no.of working days for last 2 years – 5 Points
b. 90-95% attendance of total no. of working days for last 2 years – 3 Points

9. Govt teacher’s Children:
If the children of Govt teacher are studying in Govt/Aided schools (If both are working as teachers, one of the spouse will be entitled for these points) – 5 Points

10. Lesson plan/Unit plans and Instructional plan:
Preparation and implementation of lesson plan/unit plans & instructional plan – 1 Point

11. School Development:
Initiation in raising of funds/ material/property/infrastructure for developing the school Worth of
a. more than 3 lakhs  – 5 points
b. 2 – 2.99 lakhs – 3 points
c. 1 – 2 lakhs – 2 points
d. 50,000 – 1 lakhs – 1 point

12. Annual Assessment Survey:
Marks of A+ grade  & A grade in a school (Annual Assessment Survey for 3,5 & 8th class teachers)
a. If 100% children got A+  – 3 points
b. If 90% children got A+ – 2 points
c. If 80% children got A+ – 1 point
d. If 100% children got A – 2 points
e. If 90% children got A – 1 point

13. SSC Results:
I. Student performance
Student performance in Formative & Summative Assessments, Exams Performance in SSC Results

a. 100% pass in concerned subject. – 3 points
b. 90% and above pass – 2 points
II. School Average performance
School Average performance in SSC Exam
a. 95 to 100% pass percentage – 3 points
b. 90-94.99% – 2 points

14. Competitive exams:
Participation of children in competitions at District/ State Level from the schools – 1 point

15.  Sports and Games:
Participation in sport & games at district/ state/national – 2 points

16. Residing: If teacher is residing at working habitation – 3 points

17. Conduct of science exhibition:
Conduct of science exhibition at school level – 2 points
a) with local contribution inviting neighbouring schools in Mandal
b) Science Project – Green Crops
c) Enrolment
d) Arts
e) Sports
