TG PGECET 2025 Schedule for M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, Pharma D Courses admissions. Telangana State Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) Notification has been released in the month of March, and entrance examinations will be held in May.
PGECET is a State level common entrance test. It will be conducted by the University College of Engineering Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, a statutory body of the Government of Telangana, Hyderabad.
TSCHE has released the Entrance Tests Revised Schedule in Telangana State. The Education Department will conduct all the TS CETs according to the following revised dates. This year, all the entrance exams will be conducted online.
Students interested in pursuing a Master’s degree in engineering, architecture, or Pharmacy can register on the official site, pgecet.tsche.ac.in.
Eligible candidates can apply for TG PGECET and may submit their applications through online mode only. The registration fee is Rs.1000 (Rs.500 for SC/ ST candidates) per test.
129 Engineering Colleges offering M.E/M.Tech Courses, 96 Colleges M.Pharmacy Courses, 14 Colleges offering Pharm-B (PB) courses and 3 colleges offering M.Arch. in the state, for the year 2025-2025 will be involved in the entrance examination.

The TG PGECET is PG Engineering Common Entrance Test will be held in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode and will be held from as per schedule in two sessions 10.00 AM to 12.00 NN and 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM at two Regional Centers i.e., Hyderabad & Warangal
Osmania University will invite online applications to appear on the Post-graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) for admission into M.E / M.Tech. / M.Pharm. / M. Arch. / Graduate level Pharm. D (P.B.) (Full Time) in University,
and Affiliated Engineering / Pharmacy Colleges in Telangana State for the academic year as per G.O.Ms.No.54 HE Dept (EC-2) dated: 21-06-2007 and amendments. So, Qualified candidates would be given admissions into M.Tech, ME, M.Arch and M.Pharm courses offered by the colleges in the State.
The PGECET officials have decided to introduce textile technology in the entrance from this year making the total number of test papers to 19.
They informed me that last year, they conducted admissions directly. But this year, the admissions for text technology would be made through the entrance exam only.
The Committee also decided to continue to collect registrations online. It included payment for the registrations.
Eligible candidates who wish to apply for TG PGECET may submit their applications online only, including paying the registration fee and generating Hall Tickets.

The pattern of the test would be of objective type with multiple-choice questions. The candidates should answer 120 questions in two hours.
For the writing entrance tests, students should secure 50 percent marks in the qualifying examination for the open category and 45 percent for the reserved category. The cut-off mark for qualifying is 30 marks general and for SC/ST there is no minimum mark.
The convener said that during the academic year, about 262 engineering colleges offered ME/MTech courses, 122 colleges offered M. Pharmacy courses, and four colleges offered M.Arch courses in Telangana State.
Registration fee: Rs.1000/- for General Candidates and Rs.500/- [for SC, ST Candidates. A detailed brochure or prospectus will be released soon, including information on the online application format, instructions, syllabus, eligibility criteria, and other details.
Step by Step process for TG PGECET Registration:
- Visit the website of PCECET of Telangana State Council of Higher Education.
- Click on the TG PGECET Registration window flashing on the homepage.
- Enter details such as name, contact number, email ID etc.
- Sign in to the TG PGECET portal using your login credentials.
- Complete the TG PGECET Registration process and make the payment.
- Submit the application and keep a print of the same for any future reference.
The exam will be conducted online in a computer-based mode in two sessions: a morning session between 10 am and 12 noon and an afternoon session between 2 pm and 4 pm. The paper will contain 120 questions and will last two hours.
The entrance exam had bilingual papers in English and Telugu or English and Urdu. Apart from the marks obtained in the entrance test, the TG PGECET result also gives 25 percent weightage to the student’s intermediate marks.
