TS LPCET 2020 Syllabus & Eligibility Criteria, TS LPCET 2020 notification has been released and Online applications are invited from the candidates who intend to take admission into Language Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Government IASE / CTEs and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in the State of Telangana through LPCET 2020 on the dates to be notified shortly through Computer Based Test (CBT) online mode.
Applications will be received only through ‘ONLINE’ on LPCET 2020 website http://lpcet.cdse.telangana.gov.in from …04.2020 to …04.2020.
TS LPCET 2020 – Schedule Of Examination:
The LPCET shall be conducted online at Hyderabad and Warangal on the dates to be notified shortly.
TS LPCET 2020 – Eligibility Criteria:
A. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
B. He/She should satisfy Local / Non Local Status requirements as laid down in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation and Admission Rules 1974) as amended from time to time.
C. Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 19 years of age as on the 1st July of the year of admission i.e. 01.07.2020. There is no upper age limit.
D. Educational Qualifications: The candidates who have passed the minimum qualifying examinations mentioned below are eligible to apply, as per G.O.Ms.No.97, Education (SE- Trg-1) Department, dt.05.12.2006 read with G.O.Ms.No.10 SCHOOL EDUCATION (TRG) DEPARTMENT Date:06.04.2020.
TS LPCET Pass Marks (TS LPCET Qualifying marks):
The qualifying marks in LPCET for ranking for OC and BC candidates shall be 35% of the aggregate marks. However, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories.
That is to say, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Communities should secure 35% of marks for consideration against seats under OC category. Similarly, in the case of NCC / Defence Personnel or their children and spouses / Sports Categories also the minimum marks required are 35%.”
TS LPCET 2020 – Syllabus:
The subjects and syllabi shall be as follows:
i. Numerical ability
Telugu Pandit 1st Language of 6th to 10th classes of Telangana State Syllabus
Urdu Pandit 1st Language of 6th to 10th classes of Telangana State Syllabus
Hindi Pandit 2nd Language of 6th to 10th classes of Telangana State Syllabus
iii. Literature: Graduate Degree Standard
TS LPCET 2020 – Scheme of Entrance Test (Exam Pattern):
The Common Entrance Examination shall be of the completely objective type containing only multiple-choice questions through Computer Based Test(CBT) through online mode. The duration of online examination is One and Half hours only, with maximum marks of 100 as shown below:
*The medium of LPCET shall be Telugu, Hindi and Urdu Language for the respective Pandit Training Programmes.”
Questions and Marks -100 questions each carry one mark (100 marks).
General knowledge: 10 Questions – 10 Marks
Current Affairs: 10 Questions – 10 Marks
Numerical Ability: 10 Questions – 10 Marks
Language concerned: 30 Questions – 30 Marks
The literature of concerned language: 30 Questions – 30 Marks
Total: 100 Questions – 100 Marks – 90 minutes
a) Only the candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the LPCET shall be assigned ranks as per the order of merit. However, SC & ST candidates shall be given ranks as per merit order of marks secured by them in LPCET irrespective of qualifying mark for admission into their respective categories.
b) No requests for re-totaling of marks, revaluation of answer scripts or personal verification of answer scripts will be entertained.
c) The LPCET will be conducted at different examination centers to be constituted in the identified places only and not at any other place.
